Back in 1998, ...Not on FB, so this will have to do.
Back in 1998, we were travelling home from western Canada to central Canada via the US. We stopped for gas along an interstate highway. When we returned to the highway, we had to cross two lanes of traffic, go through a little turning lane between, and then enter the other two lanes of traffic. Sounds easy enough. Except my door wasn't closed properly, and out went my gigantic travelling purse (which some people would use as a knitting bag) into the middle of traffic when we made that turn! Thankfully, there wasn't much traffic. We pulled over and my dear husband (of now 33 years) braved the traffic to retrieve not only my purse, but all of its scattered contents. Only one thing got ruined, so I was very lucky, but it has given my kids and us a lovely story to tell at my expense through the years.Laney4https://www.blogger.com/profile/06990122242183752771noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5576538055962817926.post-54240683240967538422014-09-18T10:37:58.743-04:002014-09-18T10:37:58.743-04:00No vacation mishaps here.....but Thanks for the ch...No vacation mishaps here.....but Thanks for the chance at a win!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04638384107231384046noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5576538055962817926.post-21304888782611027622014-09-18T09:56:21.633-04:002014-09-18T09:56:21.633-04:00LOL! My Tahoe bad experience was a severe case of food poisoning from one of the casino restaurants. I had a miserable stay to say the least. I have eaten at that restaurant more than once before so that was a fluke happening. They reimbursed my meal and gave me a gift certificate for a free night's stay for the future so they did me right.

Love all the little snippets about the book. Good questions and answers! Looking forward to that thicker one coming for Colby.

Thanks for the giveaway opportunity.Sophia Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07909417504496472472noreply@blogger.com
