Sealed With a Kiss: Vicky Dreiling and Giveaway

Vicky Dreiling is a confirmed historical romance junkie and Anglophile. Frequent business trips to the UK allowed her to indulge her passion for all things Regency England. Bath, Stonehenge, and Spencer House are among her favorite places. She is, however, truly sorry for accidentally setting off a security alarm in Windsor Castle. That unfortunate incident led her British colleagues to nickname her “Trouble.” When she’s not writing, Vicky enjoys reading, films, concerts, and most of all, long lunches with friends. A native Texan, she holds degrees in English literature and marketing.

Places to find Vicky:

Shy Amy Hardwick is determined to overcome her wallflower reputation, but the last man she wishes to dance with is the worst rake in London: Will ‘the devil’ Darcett. Her encounter with him goes awry when Will attempts to lead her into temptation …..

My Dear Miss Hardwick,

May I call you Amy? I realize you are miffed at me after we took a little scenic tour at the ball last night, but I do beg your pardon. May I plead a poor sense of direction? Truly, I’d no idea you would have such an aversion to music rooms. Perhaps it was the lack of candlelight that disturbed you. Are you afraid of the dark, Amy?

By the by, I had meant to send you a bouquet of roses from my mother’s hot house, but unfortunately my mischievous nephew Peter watered them, but not in the way you might imagine. He’s rather like a dog, but perhaps I should say no more on that topic.

Since Valentine’s Day is just round the corner, I rather hope my gift of sweetmeats will turn you up sweet. We did share a rather exciting dance last night. I look forward to another….

Yours truly,
William Darcett

Check out William and Amy's love story in HOW TO RAVISH A RAKE-Coming in April!

SCANDALOUS DESIRES . . .

Amy Hardwick has one last Season to shake off her wallflower image and make a love match. If she can’t, she’ll set aside her dreams of romance and return home to a suitor who can provide security—if little else. What she doesn’t count on is the inappropriate—and irresistible—attention lavished on her in a darkened library by rake extraordinaire Will “The Devil” Darcett . . .

DEVILISH DELIGHT

When Will is caught in a tryst with the ton’s shyest miss, he knows he must offer for her hand. Yet Amy is not the shrinking violet she seems to be. Passion lies beneath her prim exterior and Will is eager to release it. But winning Amy isn’t simply a matter of seduction; first, Will must convince her that he’s mended his wicked ways . . .

This book sounds like it would be hysterical. I mean, writing an apology letter, telling about "my mischievous nephew Peter watering the roses." Can't wait to read How To Ravish a Rake. I've read the first two books in the series and loved them.

Very interesting letter, I'm not sure how Amy would react to that one. I'm looking forward to reading How to Ravish a Rake. I always love a rake, and seeing him be meet his match.

Loved the letter. I don't think the problem is that Amy is afraid of the dark. I don't think she has a prayer of resisting that one though. This rake seems determined.

William gets bonus points for realizing his did a wrong and acknowledging it. More points for his INTENT to send flowers. He is who he is and I hope Amy gives him a chance. These letters are so sweet and fun.

Vicky -
I can't wait to find out how Will will convince Amy that he’s has mended his wicked ways! You always manage to come with a underlying plot that I can't resist.

Kudos to whoever designed the cover of How to Ravish a Rake! PS: I love the necklace and was wondering if it was created just for the cover!
