Romance Book Casting Call with Kieran Kramer and Giveaway

Today I'm happy to welcome to the Casting Call Kieran Kramer. I absolutely adore Kieran and I'm so happy she was able to join us in our celebration. Kieran is awesome and is nice. I always love having her stop by and her books rock!

In Cloudy With a Chance of Marriage, Ryan Gosling, from Drive and The Ides of March, would play Captain Stephen Arrow. I chose Ryan because of his golden good looks and swagger. He’d be the perfect Stephen Arrow, the Impossible Bachelor who’s always had women falling at his feet.

In this story, Stephen has left the Navy and now has to adjust to life on land. But he can’t relinquish his commanding ways so easily—nor his tendency to party with his wild friends.

However, Jilly Jones, his next-door-neighbor and owner of Hodgepodge, a charming bookstore, doesn’t want to put up with his shenanigans. She turns the tables on him and doesn’t allow Stephen to boss her about, nor does she fall for his incredible charm.

At least, not at first.

After she admits how attracted she is to Stephen, she begins to see him in a different light. Not only is he super hot and sexy but he’s also a good man--an honorable man, unlike her wretched husband that she’s run away from and hopes never to see again.

Jennifer Lawrence, from The Hunger Games, would play Jilly. I chose Jennifer because Jilly is quite independent and has to fight to keep that independence. When her awful husband finds her, she puts up the fight of her life not to let him ruin her newfound happiness.

Jennifer plays a warrior in The Hunger Games, so I think her fire and spirit are a good match for Jilly’s personality.

Her heart’s been under the weather.
