Thank you, Donna! Usually I don't struggle with a book unless something is "off" for me in real life. When I wrote ASHES OF MIDNIGHT (Book 6) I was sick with sudden onset food allergies, which made concentration really hard because of almost daily migraines, hives, etc. I ended up spending a lot of time revising and polishing that book, where normally the manuscript I deliver as a first draft is very clean and basically ready to hit the printer. I've had other, lesser struggles with various books, but that was the hardest by far.
