I haven't attended a convention, but have attended the author signings at RT and RWA when they were held in Orlando, Florida and RWA in Anaheim, California. I got to meet many of my favorite authors and I had a blast.

I have never been to a book anything (conference, convention, signing, etc.) I think one was in Chicago recently which would have been doable as a day trip, but I didn't find out until it was too late. My parents live in Tucson and they have a big conference in Feb. (I think) each year and I've seen photos in the local papers, but the lines are terrible which would keep me away.

I'm going to my first Author Signing event in Dublin in July :D I'm really excited, but the authors that I really wanted to see have dropped out but I'm hoping I'll meet some new cool authors while I'm there!! I would love to go to a big one in America so I could meet my favourite authors that would be my dream!!
I haven't been to a convention yet, but if I were to go, I'd start small- maybe the Lori Foster or Authors After Dark.

I attended RWA's literacy signing in Atlanta last year for the first time and my eyes opened up to a whole new world. I had no idea they happened. I'd love to attend but the fee to attend is a little too pricey for me. :/

I would love it if RWA would come to Hawaii! We have an awesome Convention center.
I attended RWA-NYC a few years ago and loved it. I'd love to attend Bouchercon and Malice one day too.
I've never had the good fortune of attending a convention but I would love to go to the RWA Nationals. Maybe someday they'll hold it in Detroit or maybe come back to Chicago.
I went to RAGT last June and I'm going again this June. I loved it and had such a great time.

I have not but I would so love to in the future. I want to be able to meet all my favorite authors and get them to sign my books are at least take a picture with them.

I went to RWA in NYC a few years ago. It was very thrilling to meet so many authors. I am even more addicted to romance now, so when it comes back to NY I will need a lot more time for book signing!

I didn't even know there were conventions like this until the past few months when I have learned about new authors and sites like this and saw the posts on FB. I hope to be able to go to one someday!!
