I cannot begin to even explain how much I hated this book. After finishing this book I was so mad that I actually tossed it against the wall.

ARC Review: The Amorous Education of Celia Seaton by Miranda Neville

When I first began this book and realized that the hero and heroine were on the run from kidnappers and that the hero Tarquin would have amnesia I was a little hesitant. I'm not the biggest fan of these kinds of tropes. Boy did this book prove me wrong. I loved this book. It was so enjoyable! In fact, my favorite part of the book is when they are on the run.

I completely fell in love with Terence Fish and was sad to see Tarquin regain his memory. I admit, that it took me awhile to warm up to Tarquin. I found him very pompous and quite stuck up. I did enjoy watching him transform from this type of person into someone Celia could love and trust. I thoroughly enjoyed watching him fall in love with Celia and seeing her true beauty.

Celia was a great heroine and I loved how she doesn't just roll over when things don't go her way. She is constantly thrown opstacles and it was great to see how she would overcome them all. She didn't just cower in the corner and wait for others to help her. She figured out solutions for herself. It's great to read about strong heroines, especially in historicals.

I loved watching both Celia and Tarquin fall in love. They both had such strong negative opinions of one another and it was great to see them overcome them and become more accepting and friendly towards eachother. Their love for eachother didn't feel rushed or nonexistant. I truly felt them falling in love with one another and it was great to see.

Another thing that I loved in this book was that we got to see more of Sebastian and Diana. I admit that I haven't forgotten these two at all. It was great to catch up with both of them and the rest of Diana's family. One of my favorite scenes in the book is when Celia and Tarquin show up and Diana has gone into labor and both Sebastian and Diana's father are reacting to her being in labor. It was truly hilarious and I could not stop laughing. It is definitely one of my favorite parts in the book.

After reading this book, I am extremely anxious for the next one in the series. I am really enjoying this series and I can't wait to see what happens with the other characters. Hopefully we get to see more of Diana's siblings.

Random Acts of Kindness

R.A.K. or otherwise know as Random Acts of Kindness is the brainchild of Vanessa and Isalys over at Book Soulmates. I think this is a genius idea. You put together a wish list of items that you would like to receive. Then hopefully at the end of the month someone has sent you some items from it. You in turn choose other fellow bloggers from the list and send them items from their wish list. This will be the first time participating and I'm excited. I've already been able to send out a few books and I've only looked at a few wish lists so far. If you are a fellow book lover I highly suggest joining this event. Review: Seducing The Governess by Margo Maguire

I was very excited to read this book. I had heard a lot of great things about it and I just love the premise of the Lord of the Manor falling for the governess. Boy was I disappointed. This book started off so good and then kind of just fizzled out. I loved the beginning of the book and seeing the banter between Nash and Mercy, but once I got towards the middle of the book everything seemed to slow down immensely. It actually was a bit boring. I just kept reading waiting for something to happen. I found it very frustrating at times. I don't understand putting things into stories just to put it in. There were some things  that she would allude to but nothing ever came of it. I just don't understand why it was there.

Another thing that I disliked was the last bit of the book. It just seemed so rushed. Almost as if she realized that the book was ending so she just had to solve everything. Some things just didn't work for me. Like Mercy, she has no recollection of her early childhood and then all of a sudden she is dreaming about it. Seriously? It just seemed so convenient. Both Mercy and Nash's mysteries are solved so simply.

I would have also liked to have seen a bit more interaction between Mercy and Nash before they fall into bed together. They share one kiss and all of a sudden Mercy is falling into Nash's bed. It didn't seem very consistent with what we had already been shown of Mercy's personality. Don't get me wrong, I love the two of them together I just feel like it was a bit rushed.

I am curious to read the next book in this series. The premise seems very interesting and I would love to see more of Mercy and Nash.

ARC Review: How To Seduce A Scoundrel by Vicky Dreiling

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Vicky has created a wonderful story with a great mix of love and humor. I love the passion between both Julianne and Hawk. It was very enjoyable to see them get their HEA. I loved that we saw both characters at such vulnerable states but overcome everything and find their way to eachother. The love between them both was very believable and very passionate.

Julianne is such a caring and passionate person. She isn't just some flighty debutante whose only concern is fashion plates and snaring a husband. She thinks of others and truly cares about their feelings.

I think I may have fallen slightly in love with Hawk. He has great sense of humor but at times is very brooding and protective. I loved reading about him and loved the journey he took to come to terms with his past. I sincerely felt for him and I loved how Vicky was able to tie up his loose ends and make it believable.

I definitely hope that we get to see more of these two in future books. This was a highly enjoyable read and I reccomend it to everyone. I honestly didn't want it to end.
