Guest Post with Author Stephanie Beck and Giveaway

Today I would like to welcome to the blog author Stephanie Beck. Stephanie is currently on tour and has stopped by today to chat. Before I give the floor over to Stephanie, lets get to know her a bit.

Stephanie Beck is a full time mom, part time writer and ameture speller.

She's been writing since she was fifteen. Her first novel, "Love on the Mats" was a graphic, heartwarming tale of a wrestler and a cutie coed which was lovingly edited by the c-squad basketball team on the long bus rides throughout the season. They were all sure it would be published and it still has a home in a folder...somewhere.

Stephanie Beck loves romance and all things romantic, heart warming and usually funny, though a more serious piece will find its way in occasionally.

In her spare time she knits and sews, walks the dog, plays with her three wonderful children and tries to get her husband to act out the naughty things she researches...oh the sacrifices she makes for her craft.

Places to find Stephanie:

When the boy is not in charge by Stephanie Beck

I don’t usually write femdom sort of stuff. I certainly don’t write weak female characters and I never make them shy in the sack, but I’ve never given one a whip…until Searching for Smut.

Now, because I’ve never given a woman a whip in one of my stories, I’ve never had to write a leading man with the sort of personality that would go for that kind of BDSM fun.

In Searching for Smut, Cal thinks he’s the one who will be in charge and even does his research to make sure he does it all correctly. When I first started writing I actually thought it would be more about Cal learning to be more dominating and assertive in the bedroom.

Nope. Didn’t happen, but I learned while writing that just because Cal let his lady take the lead didn’t mean he lost the manliness and strength I saw in him from the very start. I think there’s a certain amount of strength and freedom that comes from embracing an adult, mature sexual desire. I’m so glad Cal got the opportunity!

How do you feel about men taking orders in the bedroom?

I’d love to have you stick around and visit. One commenter (sorry, US only) will win a $10 Barnes and Noble gift card and an ebook of Searching for Smut.

All the Best,
Stephanie Beck

Donna is on the hunt for a cowboy to ride into the sunset. So far, she’s had fun, but nothing special enough to settle down. Cal’s plan is about to be set into action. After months of watching Donna, he’s done his homework and is ready to offer her everything she wants. When Donna’s real desires come to life, Cal will have to think on his feet if he wants more than just one night.

Places to Purchase:

Donna really was too sweet for the mercenary sex she indulged in, but she needed it. She’d been hoping to find a nice guy who shared her kink to start a relationship with. So far she’d only hooked up with losers in Dallas. Even back in her hometown, she hadn’t found a guy worth driving three hours to visit every week.

When Cal walked in, she’d been a little let down. He was a dork, always had been. A nice dork, but not the tough, sexy, cowboy of her darkest fantasies. Still, he cleaned up well.

Setting his hat on the bar, he ordered a beer. His sandy brown hair appeared freshly cut, enhancing what she’d just noticed were killer cheekbones. She took another sip of her drink. She’d get a buzz and have nice sex with Cal. If she couldn’t have a real cowboy, she could at least tie him down and ride into the sunset.

“Are you going to buy me a drink?” she asked.

He looked at her glass then at her. The dark, deep quality of his eyes reminded her of the heart of a storm. Her pussy jumped. Maybe “nice” sex with him wouldn’t be such a letdown.

He smiled. “I was thinking we could continue this at my place.”

The men she’d been dealing with on her weekend trips waited for her to make the first move, usually much later in the night, after plenty of alcohol. Cal’s take-charge attitude gave her a peek at the high she’d been chasing. She’d hung out with his sister in high school, so she knew his family well. He wasn’t technically a stranger, so she felt even better about going home with him.

She pulled her purse on her shoulder and hopped off the stool. “I’m ready when you are.”

  10. I wouldn't mind trying it - but while I give orders every where else, I am not sure I could do it in the bedroom. But heck, I'll try! LOL

    1. Why not give it a shot if you have a willing partner! What's the worst thing that happens? You don't enjoy it and then you simply don't have to do it again!

  11. It would be interesting to read but it would be hard. They just seem to be naturally dominant. It must be the caveman thing. But if the man is going to be submissive in the bedroom you need one strong female to switch places with him.

  12. I don't think I've read a story so far where the woman was the dominant in charge one. Usually in the book I read the men are alpha doms and the women are submissives, but I'm up for a little change, taking orders can be verrry sexy ;-)

    1. I've run into a few fem-dom stories, but I'd agree that the vast majority put the fella in charge. Changing things up can be fun!

  15. I like the dominant man. I havent read a book where a woman is the dom and the man is the sub. For me, i love an alpha, i find it hot and i really cant get into a book with a man thats a sub. But who knows, maybe i just havent found the right book yet! :D
