ARC Review: Blame it on the Kiss by Robin Bielman

Robin Bielman is one of those authors that I just love and know that I will enjoy whatever she writes. Blame it on the Kiss was just as fun and flirty and sweet as I have come to expect from Robin, and I really enjoyed this story. Though this is the second Kisses in the Sand book, it can be read as a standalone story with interconnected characters.

After losing her best friend, Honor Mitchell sets out to fulfill her best friend's last wishes. She made a list for Honor, and although Honor doesn't usually follow through with things she is determined to do this for her friend. Honor came close to fulfilling one of the items on her list with the sexy Bryce Bishop, but when she learned who he was she knew she had to leave. Now with her friends wedding, Honor knows that she must face Bryce since he is the best man and she is a bridesmaid. When Bryce finds out about the list, he is determined to help Honor complete it even though Honor doesn't want his help. But Bryce also knows that the last thing he needs it to be spending more time with Honor when it could affect his professional life as well as his heart.

I really liked Honor and Bryce. Bryce was sweet and sexy, and I loved that he never gave up on Honor. He had vowed to give up love after he was hurt, but he couldn't stop himself from letting Honor in. He was great with her and I liked how supportive and encouraging he was. He got under her skin and didn't let her get away with running from him. Honor was great also, and I really liked that she was so loyal. She would do anything for her friends and family, and she was so dedicated to doing Payton's list. She was a bit all over the place and had trouble following through with things, but I was glad that Bryce was there for her and helped her get over some of that. She had her reasons for her actions, and it wasn't until Bryce that anyone really seemed to understand that about her. These two were really sweet together, but they also had a ton of chemistry and really generated some steam.

Overall, this was another winner from Robin Bielman and I really think that you cannot go wrong with any of her books. I really enjoyed Honor and Bryce's story, and I thought that it was the perfect balance of sweet and sexy and emotional. If you are looking for a great contemporary story, Robin Bielman is the author for you. She never disappoints, and I find myself falling in love with her beautiful and unique characters every time. I can't wait to read more from Robin in the future, and I am really hoping that we get a story for Honor's brother Cooper!
