My Favorite Things Event with Robin Bielman

When not attached to her laptop, USA Today Bestselling Author Robin Bielman can almost always be found with her nose in a book. A California girl, the beach is her favorite place for fun and inspiration. Her fondness for swoon-worthy heroes who flirt and stumble upon the girl they can’t live without jumpstarts most of her story ideas.

She loves to frequent coffee shops, take hikes with her hubby, and play sock tug of war with her cute, but sometimes naughty, dog Harry. She dreams of traveling to faraway places and loves to connect with readers. To keep in touch sign up for her newsletter on her website at www.robinbielman.com

Hi everyone! I’m so happy to be here to celebrate the month of April with RFTC! Happy bloggerversary, Dani! xoxo

Lately, I’ve had two favorite things. The first is Jordan almonds. You know, those pastel, candy-coated almonds that are especially popular around Easter? I’m enjoying them immensely at the moment. I keep thinking I’ll tire of them, but nope. Not yet. Probably because my husband keeps bringing them home! (This is one of those I love him/I hate him times.) The problem is he can eat just a few of them, where I have to eat all of them.

My second most-loved current thing is Dancing With The Stars. I’m waayyy behind on my writing deadline, but I can’t miss DTWS. It makes me happy. I record it, though, and watch it the next day so I can fast-forward the commercials. That saves me some time and gives me the ability to rewind. Sometimes a dancer, I mean dance, just needs a second look. ;)

There’s one more thing I want to give a favorite shout out to, and that’s our host, Danielle! Dani was one of the first bloggers I met and became friends with and she has been amazingly supportive and helpful and kind to me. Thanks for being awesome, Dani! I love ya! This is for you…

When Navy firefighter Nick Palotay returns to Marietta to go on the bachelor auction block for a good cause, he expects it to be risk free. But when he needs someone safe to bid on him and his sister’s best friend is coaxed into stepping up, Nick isn’t prepared for the effect Cassidy has on him. She sends his mind to all kinds of dirty places…places his battered heart can’t afford.

Freelance photographer Cassidy Ware is in waaay over her head. She’s always been Nick’s other little sister, but she’s all grown up now and just a glance from him leaves her hot and bothered. Still, she can stay immune to his charms and keep him at an emotional distance because she’s got an agenda, too. She’ll help the too-handsome Nick with his charitable deed, and, in return, he’ll help her keep an unwelcome suitor at bay.

A deal’s a deal, but when their “business transaction” turns into more pleasure than duty, can they walk away from each other without losing what matters most?

    1. Hi Jennifer! Thanks for your question - and being here with me (as always)! I read mostly contemporary romance. I never read romance until I started writing it, so I feel like I'm still catching up. LOL I do enjoy historical romance, paranormal romance and romantic suspense, too. And some erotic romance. I'm also a fan of women's fiction (Colleen Hoover and Marilyn Brant are my faves - both are heavy on the romance, too) and my favorite non romance author is Jim Butcher. He writes one of my all-time favorite series, The Dresden Files. I named my dog Harry, after the main character.
