Sealed With a Kiss Event with Katherine Bone

National best-selling historical romance author Katherine Bone has been passionate about history since she had the opportunity to travel to various Army bases, castles, battlegrounds, and cathedrals as an Army brat turned officer’s wife. Who knew that an Army wife’s passion for romance novels would lead to pirates? Certainly not her rogue, whose Alma Mater’s adage is “Go Army. Beat Navy!” Now enjoying the best of both worlds, Katherine lives with her rogue in the south where she writes about rogues, rebels, and rakes—aka pirates, lords, captains, duty, honor, and country—and the happily-ever-afters that every alpha male and damsel deserve.

Ahoy, Ramblings from this Chick! I’m thrilled to include these love letters written in 1802, after My Lord Rogue. Lord Simon Danbury has sent Gillian, Baroness Chauncey to the Oakley Arms in Lambeth to meet another member of Nelson’s Tea, Thomas Forsyth. Together, Gillian and Forsyth have infiltrated a group of Irishmen involved in the Rebellion of 1798, and formerly associated with the London Corresponding Society. The group is led by Colonel Edward Marcus Despard, Admiral Nelson’s friend. Despard’s revolutionaries are reportedly planning to seize the Tower of London, the Bank of England, and assassinate King George III. Nelson is desperate to exonerate his friend.

Check out Gillian and Simon's love story in My Lord Rogue.

Espionage, secrecy, and thwarted assassination attempts. The only thing more dangerous is being in love…

Gillian Chauncey, Baroness Chauncey, is a master of disguise, trained by her expatriated husband, a former French royalist, in the arts of espionage. When a dangerous life or death secret lands in her lap, she’s thrust into a perilous world of ticking clocks and desperation, arrowing her directly into the arms of the man who arranged her marriage.

Lord Simon Danbury is no ordinary nobleman. He’s been tasked by Admiral Nelson to organize an elite group of clandestine first sons willing to sacrifice all to protect England’s shores. When an assassination attempt is made on Nelson, Simon isn’t sure what poses more danger, the enemy or the masterfully seductive Gillian.
