Sealed With a Kiss: Shana Galen and Giveaway

Shana Galen is the author of numerous fast-paced adventurous Regency historical romances, including the Rita-nominated Blackthorne’s Bride. Her books have been sold worldwide, including Japan, Brazil, Russia, Spain, Turkey, and the Netherlands, and have been featured in the Rhapsody and Doubleday Book Clubs. A former English teacher in Houston’s inner city, Shana now writes full time. She’s a wife, a mother, and an expert multi-tasker.

Places to find Shana:

Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope you’ve made your plans and are looking forward to the big day. But if you are not, if you hate Valentine’s Day, know you are not alone. The heroine from my new book, The Rogue Pirate’s Bride, is not a fan of Valentine’s Day either. In fact, Raeven isn’t much of a fan of Bastien, my hero. She’s an admiral’s daughter and hates pirates, Bastien in particular. She’d rather kill him than kiss him, and she has good reason. Bastien wouldn’t mind kissing Raeven, and he has been known to take a liberty or two. But what do you expect from a rogue pirate? I managed to turn up some scraps of “love” letters between these two. I hope you enjoy!

Violets are blue.
Roses are pink.
I could not read your letter,
I spilt rum on the ink.

Ma cherie, I can guess what you say,
You wish to kiss me all night and all day.
I did catch a mention of your dear sword.
If you want it back, please climb aboard.

Your father will rail, your friends be appalled,
But I assure you, ma belle, sated you will be sprawled.

Check out Raeven and Bastien's love story in THE ROGUE PIRATE'S BRIDE.

Revenge should be sweet, but it may cost him everything…

The marquis de Valère escaped certain death in the French Revolution and is now an infamous privateer. Out to avenge the death of his mentor, Bastien discovers himself astonishingly out of his depth when confronted with a beautiful, daring young woman who is out for his blood…

Forgiveness is unthinkable, but it may be her only hope…

British Admiral’s daughter Raeven Russell believes Bastien responsible for her fiancé’s death. But once the fiery beauty crosses swords with Bastien, she’s not so sure she really wants him to change his wicked ways…

  9. That definitely sounds like a Rogue Pirate, lol. I can't wait to read more about him. It wasn't until I started reading historical romances that I saw the attraction of pirates.

Eek. Very funny. That has to be first use of appalled, and sprawled together as rhyming words. Love it.
