Places to find Karen:
How I miss you so. Being in Town during such dreary weather has become quite an abominable chore, I must say. The long days feel longer without you near. The nights…even worse. That I had to leave to attend such dreadfully boring business definitely doesn’t make it any easier.
But I will withstand the loneliness. The ache which settles in my heart when I wish to tell you something, only to remember you’re not with me. I miss your glowing eyes, your wondrous smile, and more than anything, your lovely, sinful body…
I do hope you’re feeling well and taking care of yourself. Not chasing after our lovable—and tiring—son. You need your rest now more than ever, my darling. Soon your belly will swell with our child and you’ll grow weary. And I wish for my wife to greet me most properly when I return home in a fortnight.
Hell, scratch that. I shall return in a sennight. There is not much left keeping me here and though Mother protests when I start talking about leaving, she knows she can’t keep me here helping her for too long. She knows how much I miss you.
How much we need each other. Love each other.
Know that you are always in my heart, Julia, even when we are apart. I close my eyes at night and see you. I dream of you. And when I wake, you are always in the very forefront of my thoughts, love.
I adore you.
Check out Garrett and Julia's love story in The Merry Widows Collection
Enter a sinfully wicked world where three daring women encounter sexy rakes in these erotic adventures…
In Lessons in Indiscretion, widowed Lady Julia Renwick pursues the much younger Earl of Bedingfield and is shocked to discover she has much to learn from him when it comes to passion.
In Her Christmas Pleasure, Damien Morton secretly craves the love of his best friend’s widow, Lady Danver, until a stolen kiss under the mistletoe ignites a desire they can no longer deny.
In A Scandalous Affair, widowed Lady Pomeroy sets out to seduce the mysterious Marquess of Hartwell, deemed “Black Hart” by society, by wantonly inviting him to a private rendezvous…

How and when did you decide to become a writer? Was it something that came naturally or something like a hobby that turned into a career? What are some ways for someone to get started in writing?

What a wonderful letter from Garrett! I think I'll make a copy of it for my husband of 43 years and maybe he'll finally understand that leaving a list of what he wants me to pick up on the store doesn't qualify as a "love letter"!
ReplyDeleteFortunately my two married sons listened to their mother's wise words of wisdom and realize that helping to clean the house and wash the dishes go a long way in learning the true way to a woman's heart!
Maybe that's why I love Karen's stories so much!
Thanks Karen for your wonderful stories and great heros!
