An Entangled Winter Wonderland Event with Jennifer Shirk

Jennifer Shirk has a bachelor degree in pharmacy-which has in NO WAY at all helped her with her writing career. But she likes to point it out, since it shows romantic-at-hearts come in all shapes, sizes, and mind-numbing educations.

She is a USA Today bestselling and award-winning author of sweet (and sometimes even funny) romances for Montlake Romance and Entangled Publishing. Her novel, FIANCE BY FATE, a 2015 Readers' Crown Finalist, became an Amazon #1 bestseller for Series Romance. And recently, WRONG BROTHER, RIGHT MATCH, WON the Sweet Traditional category of the 2017 Golden Quill Contest and became a #1 Amazon bestseller for Holiday Romance and USA Today bestseller.

She serves on many volunteer boards in her community, but is most proud of her work on the Ocean City Free Public Library Board of Trustees, where she has served as President for over 3 years. She resides in a beach resort in NJ, and when she's not involved in all the above, she's taking care of her most treasured possessions: her husband, daughter, and dog (Sox).

Hi, all! Jennifer here!

I don't know about you but I ADORE holiday Christmas music. (I'm actually listening to my holiday playlist now as I write this blog post!!) However, my husband does not share that same love, which makes living in my house extremely difficult in December.

As soon as Thanksgiving is over, I will listen to nothing but Christmas music all the way up until Christmas day. You would think I would get tired of the same old songs, but I just don't. Especially when there are so many different renditions of my favorites. What's nice is that new ones get created, too. Some of the newer songs have actually become a staple in my house now. In fact, Sia came out with a Christmas album last year that I absolutely was obsessed with! However, there is something about the old time classics that I NEED to hear as well to really get me in the spirit.

So I've created my Top Ten Holiday Song Favorites. (It's wasn't easy!) I have an 84 song Christmas playlist that I use for wrapping gifts and general background music so believe me, it was hard to choose just 10.

But here it is. These are the songs that I never get tired of hearing and are an absolute MUST listen to for the holidays.

Jennifer's TOP TEN Holiday Playlist 2018
  1. It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas ---Michael Buble
  2. Christmas Eve ---Kelly Clarkson
  3. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas ---Diana Krall
  4. O Holy Night ---Celine Dion
  5. Holly Jolly Christmas---Burl Ives
  6. Jingle Bell Rock--- Bobby Helms
  7. Christmas Song ---Nat King Cole
  8. Sleigh Ride ---Ella Fitzgerald
  9. Grown-Up Christmas List ---Amy Grant
  10. Santa's Coming for Us--- Sia

Whew! I'm ready for Christmas! (Almost)

Matchmaking guru Kennedy Pepperdine’s life is perfect. Perfect job. Perfect friends. Perfect boyfriend. Except...when she gets trapped in an elevator with a handsome stranger, she accidentally confesses a secret: maybe her perfect boyfriend, Justin, isn’t so perfect for her after all. But a matchmaker should be able to successfully match herself, right? Thankfully, she’ll never see the handsome stranger again. Until she heads home with Justin for the holidays and learns that the sexy stranger is none other than Justin’s older brother, Matt.

Matt Ellis is trying to be on his best behavior for his mother—it is Christmas, after all. But when he recognizes the beautiful woman from the elevator—the one he hasn’t been able to stop thinking about for months—his best behavior is being held by a thread. Matt’s always sacrificed for his family, and nothing is more important than their happiness, but the more time he spends around Kennedy, the more he wonders if her supposed "right match" might just be the wrong brother.
