A Naughty New Year with Carmen Falcone

USA Today Bestselling Author Carmen Falcone loves to spend her time writing about hot Alpha males and the quirky, smart and sassy heroines who turn their world upside down.

Brazilian by birth and traveler by nature, she moved to Central Texas after college and met her broody Swiss husband—living proof that opposites attract. She found in writing the best excuse to avoid the healthy lifestyle everyone keeps talking about. When she's not lost in the world of romance, she enjoys spending time with her two kids, being walked by her crazy pugs, reading, catching up with friends, and chatting with random people in the checkout line.

Hi, Friends!

This is an extra scene from my super hot (and I mean hot!) romance Good Girl Gone Bad. I wrote this mini-epilogue especially for Ramblings From This Chick. Keep reading and feel free to share/leave a comment to enter to win a $10 Amazon GC.

Hope you enjoy!

New Year’s Wish

Lily Jenkins-Giordano clutched her bag, and looked for her husband in the sea of people. Several couples danced in the floor, and coiffed waitresses zig zagged between tables and guests, lifting their trays of Veuve Clicquot to make it through the crowd.

She and Marco would have preferred to celebrate New Year’s Eve at home, but his brother Nico had insisted they attend this venue—something about securing a big account. Lily had gone to visit her mother in the retirement community first, like it was customary every New Year’s Eve. She’d told Marco to head to the party, and she’d meet him there. He’d just arrived from a business trip and she hadn’t seen him in five days. And now…

New Year. New chances.

A thrill of anticipation rushed through her as she searched for her hot husband amongst the party goers. Tonight, she’d tell him about her decision—she wanted to start a family, and hoped he’d be on board. Sure, they hadn’t been married for long, but they loved each other fiercely, and she knew he’d be a great father. Why wait?

When she found Marco across the living room, awareness zapped down her spine. One year together, and she always had the same reaction tantalizing her. Heat. Hope. Love.

His gaze found hers. A spark of lust gleamed in his brown eyes, and he strode over to her without breaking the stare. She swallowed hard, all her lady bits painfully aware of his presence. Everyone else disappeared from the crowd—well, almost everyone, she realized, when a woman apologized for brushing too close when she passed by behind her.

“It’s okay,” Lily whispered, and when she turned her face, Marco had already arrived, within a breath of her.

“Are you ready for the count down, my love?” he said, then captured her lips with his.

She linked her hands around his neck, and he intensified the kiss, exploring her mouth like this was their first time together. A hot stir formed behind her tightening nipples, and traveled everywhere, causing delicious tingles throughout her body.

When he finally withdrew his mouth from hers, her breathing came out in small gasps. “I’m ready if you are.”

He stroked her cheek. “Always ready for you.”

How about ready for fatherhood? She chewed on the lower lip, still swollen and tender from his kiss. Would talking about it ruin the night? He grabbed her hands in his, and led her toward the garden. A cold draft slapped her on the face, but he quickly removed his jacket and placed it on her shoulders.

“Better?” he asked.

“Yes.”

He took her to a remote area in the hilly grass. “Fireworks will start soon.”

He brought her to his lap, and she sighed, molding herself perfectly to his naturally tan, massive body. Her sex hummed, and she kissed his chin.

“Or maybe they can start right now,” he said.

She laughed. “I need to talk to you about something…”

He placed his large hands on the small of her back, then touched her ass, massaging her cheeks. Kneading her flesh. “What is it?”

Ignoring the shivers both from the cold and his caress, she looked him square in the eye. “I want a baby.”

He lifted an eyebrow, studying her without giving much away. “You do?”

“Yes. A new year is coming, and I didn’t want to start it without telling you my wish. Are you okay with it?” A knot formed in her stomach. Crap. What if he wanted to wait longer? But wait for what?

“Okay?” He frowned, then a softness washed over his face. “I can’t wait to make little Lillies. Damn it, I want a whole garden.”

Happiness burst inside her, and she loosened her shoulders, relaxing. “Really?”

He flipped her on the grass, so he was on top of her. With a devilish grin, he nipped her chin, then whispered with his deep, sexy Italian accent, “Absolutely. In fact, let’s start practicing right now…”

Lily has always lived up to her preacher father’s expectations of how she should behave, but all that changes when a hot stranger walks in to her hair salon and a feral need to have him takes over her common sense. On a whim, she screws him in the supply room, caving to a desire that only grows with each kiss.

When she learns he’s the billionaire alpha who wants to boot her out of her business for the sake of his own, she’s livid. But the pulse between her legs never got the memo. Things heat up even more when he offers her a naughty proposal that’s going to make this good girl stop thinking twice about being bad…
