ARC Review: Illegal Contact by Santino Hassell

I love Santino Hassell's writing style and have yet to be disappointed by anything I have read for him. But I absolutely love sports romance stories, so this was one that I couldn't wait to get my hands on! Illegal Contact was everything I had hoped it wold be and more. Definitely one of my favorites from Santino to date, and a fantastic start to this series!

Gavin Brawley is the tight end for the New York Barons, but he finds himself suspended and under house arrest after an incident goes viral. Noah Monroe is a recent college grad needing money, so when the opportunity to be Gavin's PA comes up he jumps at the chance for what should be an easy job. What neither of them are prepared for is the instant attraction between them. But what happens when Gavin is back on the team and no longer in timeout?

I loved these guys. The chemistry between them was so strong and I couldn't get enough. They each had issues, and they were different in a lot of ways. There were also so many things that they were similar in though, and I really loved getting to know them as their layers were revealed. Things between Gavin and Noah were antagonistic at first, but when things heated up between them, they were lava hot! I loved the tension and passion between Noah and Gavin, and I never wanted to leave this world that Santino has created.

Overall, this was a great start to the series and I am already anxious for the next book. Illegal Contact was sexy and emotional, and I thought it was so well written. The pacing was perfect and once I picked this one up I devoured every last page of Gavin and Noah's story, not wanting to stop for anything. Santino is a great writer and this book is one of my favorites from him. I highly recommend checking this one out, but really if it has Santino's name on it you can't go wrong.

ARC Review: Mature Content by Megan Erickson and Santino Hassell

I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book! I have absolutely loved the Cyberlove series from Megan Erickson and Santino Hassell. Each book is a standalone story, though the characters are interconnected. Each can easily be read on it's own, but I highly recommend reading in order as they are not only fantastic books, but they give you backstory on the characters and you get to see how far each of them has come.

Beau Starr and Zane are both YouTube stars, yet each of them are completely different in their personalities and approach. While Beau is on the wholesome side, preferring to offer advice and be inspirational in his postings, Zane tends to tell it like it is and overshare every detail of his life. Though these two have always been on opposite sides and can't stand one another, they find themselves drawn to each other in a way that neither of them has ever felt with anyone else. They quickly realize that while they their public lives might be at odds, in the bedroom they are more than compatible. But can there possibly be anything more than hot hate sex between them when they are so different?

I absolutely loved these two! They were so freaking hot together, and Megan and Santino were right when they said this was their sexiest book yet! Seriously I have loved each of the Cyberlove series books, and each has been hot! But Beau and Zane were on an entirely different level! I couldn't get enough of them and I loved the way things started for them. Enemies to lovers romance stories are one of my favorite tropes, and Mature Content is one of the best that I have read. Zane and Beau were so much more though, and the best part for me was seeing these two get to truly know the other and realize that there was so much they didn't know about each other. There was a lot beneath the surface to both of them, and each one had things that they struggled with on their own. I loved seeing them let each other in and find a connection unlike any they had felt before. These two were so different and shouldn't have made sense, yet they were absolutely perfect together.

Overall, this was a fantastic story and each time I think I have a favorite in this series Santino and Megan prove me wrong. Mature Content had me captivated from start to finish and I couldn't get enough of these characters. I would love to see this series go on forever, because each story instantly has become a favorite of mine. Beau and Zane are impossible not to fall for, and if you have enjoyed any of the previous books in this series I think you will love this one. If you are new to this series though, I highly recommend you check them out as they are must reads.

Review: Fast Connection by Megan Erickson and Santino Hassell

Fast Connection is the second book in the Cyberlove series by Santino Hassell and Megan Erickson. I have really enjoyed each book in this series, despite the fact that I read them completely out of order. With each book being a standalone story, it is easy to jump in wherever you want though the books are interconnected. I highly recommend reading each of these books because they are so good, and if you can read them in order that would be even better.

After returning home from his recent deployment, Dominic Costigan is trying to figure out what he wants to do with his life. He knows that he needs to get out of his parents' house and that he wants to explore his attraction to men now that he admits that he is bi. When he meets sexy silver fox Luke Rawlings through a hook up app, he immediately feels drawn to Luke and wants more. But Luke is used to keeping his hookups separate from his life after a bad experience in the past left him with trust issues. Though Luke tries to keep Dominic at arm's length, he quickly realizes that Dominic has a way of getting under his skin. But can Dominic show Luke that they belong together and can work through anything as long as they are together, or will there be too many obstacles for them to overcome?

I really liked Dominic and Luke. They were exactly what the other one needed, and they fit together perfectly. Dominic was able to loosen Luke up, and help him to move forward with his life. While Luke had a lot of great things going for him, he wasn't truly living until Dominic. Dominic made him happy and that was something he desperately needed. Luke did the same for Dominic, encouraging him to pursue a career of his choice and live his dreams. He was supportive and kind, showing Dominic that he deserved to be happy and loved. While these two had a lot against them, I loved their connection and chemistry and the fact that their love was stronger than any obstacles standing in their way.

I did feel at times like Luke pushed Dominic away and tended to blame him for things that weren't his fault or use his past as an excuse to keep Dominic from getting too close. Luckily he was able to redeem himself in the end, and I ended up really liking this story. I also really ended up liking the age difference between Luke and Dominic. I am not usually big on stories where there is such an age gap, but I really thought that it made sense here and actually was the reason that these two worked so well together. I can't imagine it being any other way. If you are a M/M fan, I think that this is definitely one worth checking out. If you are new to these authors or haven't read this series yet, it is one I would highly recommend. I have loved each book in this series, and I honestly hope these two never quit writing together!

ARC Review: Hard Wired by Megan Erickson and Santino Hassell

I was so excited for Cherry and Garvy's story and couldn't wait to dive into Hard Wired by Megan Erickson and Santino Hassell. The Cyber Love series is one of my favorites, and Hard Wired was everything I had hoped it would be! While this is the third installment in the Cyber Love series, each book is a standalone with interconnected characters. While you can read this without having read the others, I highly recommend starting at the beginning though as these books are fantastic!

Cherry and Garvy have known each other online for awhile now, but as mod's for Kai's channel, everyone has always assumed that sweet Cherry was a girl. When the two are set to speak at a conference in Kai's place, Garvy is looking forward to meeting Cherry even though he hasn't heard from Cherry when he tried to make contact beforehand. But when he meets the sexy dark artist Cerise, he decides to spend the night exploring his strong attraction to him, now that he has admitted that he is into other guys. But when he shows up for the panel the next morning, he is shocked to realize that Cerise and Cherry are one and the same. After the conference they return home, and soon begin to wonder if everything should go back to the way things were or if there is something there between them worth exploring.

I absolutely loved Cherry and Garvy. I have been fans of them from the beginning, even when Garvy was a bit of a jerk at times and clearly into Kai. But I really enjoyed getting to know these two here and seeing what made them tick. They were great for one another, and I loved how they had things in common but were really different as well. The chemistry between Cherry and Garvy was so hot, and I couldn't get enough of them together. I loved that they were so much more than just physically attracted to one another though, and that their connection was so strong.

The one thing that kept this book from being a five star read for me though, was the fact that there were some issues between them when it came to Cherry's persona Cerise. I felt like while they came to a point they could move forward, that things weren't entirely resolved. It just wasn't fully dealt with and was sort of brushed under the rug. I would have liked for them to have been more on the same page about things there. I really did enjoy this book though, and despite my criticism I think that this book might be my favorite of the series yet. I just loved everything about these two, and I highly recommend it!

ARC Review: Strong Signal by Megan Erickson and Santino Hassell

I have read and enjoyed books from Megan Erickson before, but this was the first book that I have read from Santino Hassell. I really enjoyed Strong Signal, and I thought that these two were a fantastic writing team. Great start to the Cyberlove series, and I am already looking forward to reading more!

Garrett Reid was counting down the time left of his deployment, while dreading the thought of the job he would have to take once returning to civilian life. But then he met Kai while playing an online game and while they started off as rivals, the two quickly formed a friendship. Soon both of them were counting the minutes before they could talk and see each other online again, with their webcam chats turning from friendly to more. But now that Garrett is headed home, Kai knows that he is nothing like the man that Garrett expects and worries about what Garrett will think when they meet. Garrett has dreamed of what their first meeting will be like, but like the rest of his life it doesn't go as planned and he begins to wonder if the two of them can have a real life connection or if things were best between them online.

I really loved Garrett and Kai. These two were so perfect for one another, despite being so different. They brought out the best in one another, and helped the other just by being themselves. Each one of them was deep and well developed, showing growth and progress throughout the book. I loved seeing both Kai and Garrett moving forward with their lives and becoming who they were supposed to be both as individuals and as a couple. The chemistry between them was there right away, and these two were super hot together! But their connection was so strong and the emotional side of things was what kept me flipping pages here.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. The characters were great as well as the story, and I loved that it was something different and unique from what I have read before. My only criticism is that I felt the ending fell off a bit, and it wasn't quite what I had been hoping for. While I liked how things ended up, it felt a bit cheesy and easy and didn't fully satisfy. But I really loved these two and was so happy to see them get the ending that they each deserved. I have to admit that I am super curious to read the next book, as one of the main characters is one that I wasn't entirely sure of here. I am really looking forward to reading more from both Megan and Santino, both as individual authors and this amazing team they were here. If you are a fan of M/M romance, I definitely recommend checking this one out!
