Interview with Author Inara Scott and Giveaway

Today I would like to welcome author Inara Scott to RFTC. Inara is celebrating the release of her book The Boss's Fake Fiancee and has stopped by to answer a few questions. Please give Inara a warm welcome.

Inara Scott grew up on a steady diet of Harlequins, heaving bosoms, and happily ever after. Romance inspired her first novel, penned at the age of 14, titled A Wild and Stormy Passion. Today, Inara writes anything and everything, including young adult fiction and adult romance. She does frequent school visits and loves teaching writing to students of all ages. Kirkus Reviews called her debut novel, Delcroix Academy: The Candidates a “tightly written, intriguing mystery.” The Candidates (released in paperback as The Talents) was a 2010 Oregon Spirit Book Award Honor Book. The Marked, the second book in The Talents series, was released in April 2012. Inara also writes adult romance for Entangled Publishing. Her fantasy romance Radiant Desire won a 2012 HOLT Medallion Award of Merit, and was a Romance Reviews Top Pick for 2011. Inara’s latest contemporary romance, The Boss’s Fake FiancĂ©e, was released in October 2012.

Feature and Giveaway: Tart by Lauren Dane

Juliet Lamprey is having the time of her life running her successful bakery, TART, when Gideon Carter comes back into her life. Returning home to help his grandfather run the family on the farm, Gideon is back for good. When they meet again, the spark between them is immediate, and it isn’t long before the former childhood friends play catch up in bed.

That’s not good news for local lawyer Cal Whaley. Though the sexually open but strictly monogamous Cal has loved Jules for a long time, he’s hardly ever taken it further than friendship. When he sees her start to fall for Gideon, he knows he has to make his move or risk losing her forever.

Who would have anticipated that all three of them would connect on such an intimate level? The trio’s scalding liaisons take them places they’ve never dreamed. But such an intensely passionate and unusual relationship comes with equally as complicated emotions, and when Jules must suddenly leave town, she wonders if she’ll have a choice to make when she returns.

Interview with Author Susanna Fraser and Giveaway

Today I would like to welcome to RFTC author Susanna Fraser. Susanna is celebrating the release of her book An Infamous Marriage and has stopped by to answer some questions. Please give Susanna a warm welcome.

Susanna Fraser wrote her first novel in fourth grade. It starred a family of talking horses who ruled a magical land. In high school she started, but never finished, a succession of tales of girls who were just like her, only with long, naturally curly and often unusually colored hair, who, perhaps because of the hair, had much greater success with boys than she ever did.

Along the way she read her hometown library’s entire collection of Regency romance, fell in love with the works of Jane Austen, and discovered in Patrick O’Brian’s and Bernard Cornwell’s novels another side of the opening decades of the 19th century. When she started to write again as an adult, she knew exactly where she wanted to set her books. Her writing has come a long way from her youthful efforts, but she still tends to give her heroines great hair.

Susanna lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and daughter. When not writing or reading, she goes to baseball games, watches Chopped, Castle, and The Legend of Korra, and cooks her way through an ever-growing cookbook collection.
