First off, can you tell us a bit about you?
I’m a slight eccentric redhead who writes GLBT and straight romance. I love writing “out of the box” reads.

Did you always want to be a writer?
I’ve always loved writing but thought I wasn’t good enough and would never get published. But after letting a few people I trusted read my stories, that’s when I decided to try and publish my work and here I am now, a published author of 18 short stories, novellas and full length titles.

What kind of writer are you? Panster or Plotter?
I used be a panster, but now I’m a plotter. Plotting and writing an outline is a great guide for me to work from.

Where do your ideas come from?
I have a million and one thoughts rolling around in my head. I pick one and create characters and a world and see where it goes.

A la Twitter style, can you describe your book (or series) in 140 characters or less.
Alana’s Seduction is a sexy ménage between two men and the one woman they both want to claim as their own, and don’t mind sharing.

Out of any of your books, which one would you like to be a character in? And why?
I would love to be Mollie from, For the Love of Mollie. She ends up with the sexy, caring personal trainer who loves to cook and looks like Ryan Reynolds. (Conner, the hero is based on Ryan Reynolds, my ultimate lust)

What are some of your favorite kinds of stories to read?
I love all types of romance and young adult books. My favorite ones are historical and contemporaries.

Do you have a favorite book and if so what is it?
Hands down, my favorite book of all time is The Stand by Stephen King. That book blew my mind the first time I read it, and still does.

Have you ever fallen for another author's hero? If so, who and why?
I am a total Roarke fan girl. J.D. Robb has created the perfect hero in Roarke. I can’t find one thing wrong with him. He’s the perfect man.

Describe the characteristics that make up your perfect hero.
Humor, loyalty, is an optimist and a tiger in the bedroom. I’m also a sucker for a hero who has a great smile and sexy bedroom eyes.

If you could have dinner with any three authors, who would you choose and why?
Stephen King, J.R. Ward and Nora Roberts. All three of these authors are my idols and I would love to ask them question about their characters and how they came up with their stories.

What do you like to do in your free time?
I’m a sad Twitter addict. I also love to read whenever I have a free moment.

Last question, are you working on anything right now?
I just finished a lesbian Cinderella historical romance for Ravenous Romance called Cinderella and the Lady that will be out this month. Now I’m working on my second book for Decadent Publishing’s 1Night Stand series that takes place on Grand Turk and coincidentally is a ménage romance with two men and a woman.

Alana, the lead singer of the all girls’ group, The Lady Pearls is about to hit it big. Every Saturday night she sings at Sisco’s, a popular bar in town. She’ll always be grateful to Casey, the owner, who gave her a start and who she has a secret crush on.

Casey doesn’t just want to be Alana’s employer but her lover. Then there’s the bartender Marc who also lusts for Alana and refuses to wait on the sidelines as Casey puts the move on her. He’ll finally claim Alana as his own and perhaps allow Casey to join them for a night all three will never forget.

  6. Thanks for the great interview. I've never read anything by Stephen King. He scares the bejezus out of me. I'd like someone to please explain to me what "bedroom eyes" are. I don't understand that.
This book sounds fantastic. Can't wait to read it.

  10. Fingershankins: I always loved to write but kept it quiet and didn't tell anyone because I thought I wasn't good enough. And since I adore romance books, it made sense for me to write romance, so I took a chance on an idea I had and when all was said and done, I sent it to a few publishers and one came back and accepted it.

Yvette: Most of my publishers will let me have input on my covers and the majority use my titles I come up with.

Kerry: I lurve Roarke so much. Sigh.

Joanne: Most of Stephen's early horror novels gave me nightmares. And yet, I wanted to read more by him!

    Erin: Aw, thanks!

Carin: When one of my publishers asked me for an outline for a book, that's when my days of being a panster were over. Nom menage ;)

    Natasha: Thanks!
