When the nightmares came, and I felt lost, the memory of your laughter and our love, gave me strength.  I would tell you that I’ve only ever loved you, and that you are my reason for happiness. You make me stronger. You...” He strode over and stopped so they were a hairsbreadth apart. Drawing in a deep breath, she looked up at him. “I love you, Marcus Grey. You are all I ever wanted. The dream I’d thought impossible. The—”

He lowered his head, so their lips nearly touched. “I love you, Eleanor Elaine.” 

A smile quivered on her mouth, as she leaned up to receive his kiss.

A rogue
