Lady Roselyn Grey first made an appearance in Must Love Dukes. She’s the fashion-conscious younger sister of the Mad Duke of Thornwood. And finally, in book one of The Spare Heirs Series, her debut season has arrived. Unfortunately things don’t go according to her plan. Who is to blame for that? None other than Ethan Moore—scoundrel, pugilist, second son, and formerly Roselyn’s friend and neighbor.
Ethan has returned home to the family who once disinherited him, having spent years as a prize fighter on the continent. He has no plan to remain at his former home forever or even for an extended visit, but the events of his homecoming celebration force him into a life he never expected. It all begins when he sees Roselyn standing in the drive…
The Infamous Heir is Ethan and Roselyn’s story, and it can be found anywhere books are sold on March 1st!
The Spare Heirs Society Cordially Invites You to Meet Ethan Moore: The ScoundrelLady Roselyn Grey’s debut has finally arrived, and of course, she has every flounce and flutter planned to perfection…that is, if the brother of the man she intends to marry doesn’t ruin everything first.Ethan Moore is a prizefighting second son, and that’s all he ever should have been. But in an instant, his brother’s noble title is his, the eyes of the ton are upon him, and the lady he’s loved for years would rather meet him in the boxing ring than the ballroom. He’s faced worse. With the help of the Spare Heirs Society, Ethan’s certain he can get to the bottom of his brother’s unexpected demise and win the impossible lady who has haunted his dreams for as long as he can remember…

I can relate to Ethan's confusion on what to write to express his feelings. Roselyn's letter is reaching out to him. Hope he grabs on to her and doesn't let her go.
ReplyDeletePoor, confused Ethan...I can't wait to share his story. Soon! :)
DeleteYou can feel his frustration. I'm hoping when he's with her he'll open up. I can't wait to read their story.

I can't wait either! Have I ever mentioned I'm terrible at keeping secrets? Waiting for book release day is the worst agony. LOL ;)
Deletegreat letters! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Erin!
DeleteHello and Happy Valentine's Day, Elizabeth! I collect and read ARCs. And I haven't read anything by you. I really would LOVE to win. Your book appeals to me greatly. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteYay! I'm always excited to meet new readers. Happy Valentine's Day to you!
DeleteIt sounds like quite a dilemma for the characters.
ReplyDeleteIt is quite the dilemma...I hope you like the story. :)
DeleteI think it's sweet that Ethan just can't put his feelings into words on the paper. Can't wait to read this fantastic sounding book.
ReplyDeleteWhen you're not writing, what kind of books do you like to read?
I think it's safe to say Ethan has an easier time with punching gentlemen and winning money than he does expressing his feelings. LOL I hope you enjoy his story!
DeleteWhen I'm not writing, I like to read historicals. I fell in love with the genre years ago and that's how I ended up writing in it. I also enjoy small town contemporary romance and anything that has an interesting setting that isn't often seen. Great question, Joanne! Thanks for commenting!
You are a new to me author and I'm thrilled to have found you!
DeleteYay! I'm thrilled to have found you too! I love meeting new readers! Friendships form over books--at least that's what I believe. :)
DeleteSounds like a good read.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you think so, Kim! :)
DeleteYou are a new author for me and I would love to win your book to read. It sounds like a good book. Thank you for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you, Jerry!
DeleteOh I just love it when a man writes out a long love letter and then crosses it all out, sending instead a shorter response not related to the original message. Thanks so much, I can't wait to see what they have in store for us.

DeleteIt's just like a man, isn't it? LOL Ethan isn't exactly the sort of guy who would write a lady poetry. This is the best he could do.
DeleteI love all the cross-outs in the letters! It shows he's all flustered and is emotional about it all, but just isn't sure what to say. I think that is endearing about a man. We women have been trained through the ages to be more direct and explicit and "wordy." Ha! Thanks for the post. jdh2690@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteWell...Ethan has some explaining to do. Things become a bit complicated between those two, but he's trying. ;)
DeleteOoh, falling for the brother you shouldn't....love it! I married a second brother and it was the BEST choice I ever made!
ReplyDeleteYay! I love real life romances like that, Sue! It's great! I ran off with the roguish guy my family didn't like...and tomorrow is the 20th anniversary of our first date. :)
DeleteLet's hope she marries the right brother

ReplyDeleteThanks, Michele! :)
DeleteIt always takes me a while to figure out what to write in a note too!
ReplyDeleteMe too--and I'm a writer! LOL
DeleteAwww, Poor Ethan! Hope he figures out what he really wants to tell his Lady Roselyn!
ReplyDeleteRight? Poor guy. ;)
DeleteI really enjoyed the letters, and I'm looking forward to reading more. :D
ReplyDeleteThanks, Barbara! I'm really looking forward to sharing this new series with everyone!
DeleteI am intrigued by Ethan's crossed-out letters! It will be fun to see how this relationship develops.
ReplyDeletePoor, poor Ethan. I can't wait for everyone to read his story!! :)
DeleteA woman who knows what she wants and a man who can't express himself in writing - love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dee! :)
DeletePoor guy. My husband is the opposite, he is better at telling me what's on his mind by writing it rather through a conversation
ReplyDeleteHe sounds like a keeper, Tina! :)
DeleteWow, now I have to know how, what, who, and where. Lol. I love the idea of love letters from the minds of the characters.
ReplyDelete...my evil plan is working! LOL Seriously though, the "love letters" from Ethan were fun to write. (The one from Roselyn is actually an excerpt from The Infamous Heir.)
DeleteWow, now I have to know how, what, who, and where. Lol. I love the idea of love letters from the minds of the characters.
ReplyDeleteI really like the sounds of this one. I'm always interested in reading about the second sons.
ReplyDeleteAwww poor Ethan he is really struggling with the words to express himself. I can so relate so glad I am a reader and not a writer lol.
ReplyDeletePoor Ethan (and Roselyn); they're really having a tough time of it. Can't wait to read how it works out!
ReplyDeleteAwesome letters really look forward to reading more of Ethan and Roselyn's story.
