ARC Review: Down to My Soul by Kennedy Ryan

Down to My Soul is the second book in the Soul series from Kennedy Ryan. This book is not a standalone and needs to be read after My Soul to Keep. After the cliffhanger of the first book I could not wait to get my hands on the second part of Rhys and Kai's story. Kennedy Ryan never disappoints, and I really loved this book just as much as the first one.

Down to My Soul picks up right after where My Soul to Keep left off. Rhys and his past and secrets caught up with him when he told Kai lies. It tore them apart and Kai walked away from him. But Rhys wants nothing more than to win her back. Kai has secrets of her own though, and is forced to face them. But the connection between Kai and Rhys is one that neither of them can let go of, but will their secrets destroy any chance of a future together?

I really love these two. They frustrated me at times, but part of that was because I felt so emotionally invested in them that I just wanted them to figure everything out. The connection that these two have is so unique and special, and honestly is one of the strongest I have ever read about. I really felt like even though they had secrets and weren't always being open and honest with each other, that the way they interacted with one another was so different from what you typically find in romance. Even with them not telling each other everything, their communication felt strong which isn't something that you find often. I really believed these two were meant for one another, and though they had issues and secrets that there had to be a way for them to move past it all.

Overall, this was a great conclusion to Rhys and Kai's story. I felt so connected to these characters, and these books gave me all the feels. These two had chemistry and an undeniable bond that nothing could break, and I loved seeing them continue to grow and change over the course of these two books. Kennedy Ryan is a great writer, and her books always deliver such depth and emotion. Though I have loved everything she has written, I really feel like the Soul series might be my favorite. These books are just so good, and I couldn't put them down. I highly recommend giving this series a shot if you are looking for a beautiful and emotional romance. I can't wait to see what Kennedy Ryan writes next!

ARC Review: My Soul To Keep by Kennedy Ryan

I am a huge fan of Kennedy Ryan. Her Bennetts series is absolutely fantastic, and is still one of my favorites I have ever read. Her stories are beautiful and emotional, and Kennedy Ryan has a way with words that is impossible to describe. Each story I read from her is one that I always feel connected to and invested in. So when I saw that she had a new book coming out, I immediately jumped at the chance. My Soul To Keep is so good, and I loved it. It was everything I have come to know and love from her, and yet it was so much more. I went into this book blind, so I feel I should warn potential readers that there is a cliffhanger and the story will continue for these two.

After losing her mother to an illness that slowly took her life, Kai is finally ready to focus on herself. All that matters is pursuing her dream and love of music. So she set out with her best friend since childhood leaving Georgia behind for L.A. When she meets the famous Rhyson Gray through her vocal coach and friend Grady, she knows her life will never be the same. Rhyson has been living what most would consider a dream life. He is talented and famous, and has played on some of the biggest stages in the world. But he also has so much more to him that most have no clue about and when he meets Kai, he knows that they are more alike than anyone else he has ever met. But knowing that Kai isn't looking for a relationship or any distractions from her music, he will have to fight to get her to take a chance on what he knows they could have together.

I really loved Rhyson and Kai. Both of these characters were so unique and different, and the passion they had for music was so intense. They understood one another and were able to connect in ways that they couldn't with many others. Kai was struggling with moving forward after the death of her mother, and Rhyson had a lot that he struggled with because of his childhood and parents. The connection between these two was electric when they first met, and the way that Kennedy Ryan described it was absolutely beautiful. You could see the sparks and how things just changed for them in an instant. But it was over the entire course of this book that you really got to see them grow and changed as they really got to explore who each of them were and what the future could hold for them.

Overall, this was a great book and I couldn't put it down. I wasn't expecting the cliffhanger, so suffice it to say I was a bit shocked. I was left with so many feelings, but the strongest one was an absolute need for more of Rhyson and Kai. I need to know what happens from where things left off here, and I can't wait to get the next chapter in their story. My Soul To Keep is one of those books that I would highly recommend to any romance reader, as I think that it will appeal to anyone looking for a good love story and those that are seeking a deep and emotional book. Even though it does have a cliffhanger and a lot of people avoid them, I really believe that this book is worth the read and readers shouldn't be afraid to jump in. This book is so good, and I know I will be stalking Kennedy Ryan for any information I can get on when the next book for these two comes out.

ARC Review: The Culmination by Lauren Rowe

The Culmination is the fourth novel in The Club series by Lauren Rowe and I could not have been more excited to read this as soon as I found out about it. I have loved every book in this series so far (all rated at 5 stars for me!), and Jonas and Sarah are without a doubt one of my all-time favorite couples! So to get more of them was something that I could not have been happier about, and Lauren Rowe definitely did them justice here. I knew that there was so much more to their story that could be explored, yet you always have to wonder at what time is it appropriate to say enough is enough. Well Lauren Rowe definitely proved that there was plenty to write about and I couldn't get enough of these two as their love story continued.

The Culmination picks up after The Club trilogy and needs to be read in order. Make sure you start at the beginning so you don't miss out on all that Jonas and Sarah have already been through to get where they are here. So like I said this book picks up after the trilogy with Sarah and Jonas married. These two are in a good place, living life and their HEA. I don't want to give away too much in case anyone hasn't read the first three yet, but we get more of our favorite couple as well as Josh, Kat and Henn. These two might be living their HEA, but that isn't to say that things always go perfectly and I loved seeing how their relationship was progressing here. Trust me if you are a fan of the trilogy, you will want to read The Culmination. This is a full novel and has no cliffhanger.

Jonas and Sarah were even more fantastic here than I remembered, and I honestly will never forget this couple. These two are so special, and their love is rare and unique. I thought that Lauren Rowe did a great job here of giving us more of these two without repeating the same thing over and over. There was more story to tell, and I loved every bit of it. Jonas and Sarah are still the same sexy couple as they have always been, and their chemistry was hotter than ever here. These two really do have it all, and I loved seeing how they continue to deal with things together no matter what gets thrown their way.

Overall, this another excellent story from Lauren Rowe and I honestly don't know if I will ever be ready to move past these two. I love them so much, and they always bring out all the feels! If you are looking for a series that is filled with humor, sweetness and some very steamy scenes, this is definitely the one you are looking for! Lauren Rowe is a great writer and she has never disappointed me yet. I highly recommend this series, and I honestly cannot wait for more from her! I am really looking forward to getting Josh and Kat's story too!
