Interview with Author Susan Hatler and Giveaway

Please give a big welcome to author Susan Hatler. Susan is celebrating the release of her newest book, Save the Date and has stopped by to answer a few questions.

Susan Hatler is an international bestselling author who writes humorous and emotional contemporary romance and young adult novels. A natural optimist, she believes life is amazing, people are fascinating, and imagination is endless. She loves spending time with her characters and hopes you do, too.

Places to find Susan:

A la Twitter style, please describe Save the Date in 140 characters or less.
Kristen swears off men, but temptation swoops in when her sexy friend Ethan starts flirting with her.

What types of scenes are your favorite to write?
Scenes in first drafts. It’s all fun until the editing begins. ;)

If you could have dinner with any three authors (alive or dead), who would you choose and why?
I’d pick alive, since dead would be hard to chat with. ;) Hmm, so many authors to choose from...how about Meg Cabot (because she’s hilarious), Kate Perry (because she’s hilarious), and Kristin Miller (because she’s, you guessed it, hilarious). I’m thinking all three together would be a super fun dinner.

What are your favorite types of stories to read?
Stories that make me smile. :)

Last question, are you working on anything right now?
A Twist of Date (Better Date than Never #5). Coming August 1, 2013. :)

Thx for having me, and happy reading!!

Kristen swears off men, but temptation swoops in when her sexy friend Ethan starts flirting with her.

Kristen knows men hide things. Case in point, her last boyfriend turned out to be married. Just like anyone else, Kristen is devastated. However, since Kristen evaluates people for a living, her ex’s duplicity has her searching for a new career as well as swearing off men.

Touring history museums with her sexy friend Ethan doesn’t count, because he has a girlfriend, and has only shown friendly interest in Kristen. He even helps with her career counseling tasks. Although Kristen has a secret crush on Ethan, spending time with him is safe. Until she discovers he’s actually single. Gasp. And now he’s flirting with her, too.

Suddenly, Ethan is way too dangerous. Not to mention tempting. Sure, he seems like sixty shades of perfect, but how’s a girl with bad judgment supposed to detect what skeletons he has in his closet?

  7. Hi, everyone!! Sharlene, the series revisits characters from previous books, so it's fun to read them in order, but they can be read on their own, too. The first in the series is Love at First Date, but the second, Truth or Date, is FREE right now on Amazon, iTunes, and Kobo so might want to snag it now even if you read Love at First Date first. Happy reading!!
