Laurelin Paige is the NY Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today Bestselling Author of the Fixed Trilogy. She's a sucker for a good romance and gets giddy anytime there's kissing. When she isn't reading or writing sexy stories, she's probably singing, watching Game of Thrones and the Walking Dead, or dreaming of Michael Fassbender. She's also a proud member of Mensa International though she doesn't do anything with the organization except use it as material for her bio.
Laurelin Paige’s Favorite Things
1. My lake
Okay, so it’s more like a manmade pond (my mother looked up the definition and explained why it’s definitely not a lake because she likes to ruin things for me like that), but we’re still calling it a lake. It’s behind my house and this is the view from my office. When the sun’s out, you can see the turtles gather on the logs in the water. I love how calm it makes me feel while I’m working, and there’s always some interesting wildlife to see.
2. My puppy
Bambi—she’s a shelter dog, and she came with that name—is the sweet, four year old Chihuahua pug that absolutely adores me. She follows me around everywhere and snuggles me and looks up at me with those big brown eyes and likes to sniff my breath (I don’t know what that’s about). What else could a human want from a dog? The picture here of Bambi was done by my husband. He calls it Missing Laurelin because he did it when I was out of town for a signing. Apparently that’s how sad Bambi looks when I’m away on trips. Aw. Love that dog.
3. My family
I don’t share too much about my family publicly because we’re pretty much all introverts, and I like to protect their privacy, but they are my favorite people on Earth. My husband is a stay-at-home dad and he follows me around everywhere and snuggles me and looks up at me with those—oh, wait. That’s my puppy. But my husband adores me too, and he does so much to show it including giving me daily backrubs and breakfast in bed. He’s perfect. On top of that, he’s the primary caretaker of our girls. They’re 7, 12, and 14 and are brilliant, creative, funny, emotional, and challenging. I’ve never met more interesting women, and I am so lucky to know them and even luckier to be their mom.
When I met Donovan Kincaid, I knew he was rich. I didn't know he was filthy. Truth be told, I was only trying to get his best friend to notice me.I knew poor scholarship girls like me didn't stand a chance against guys like Weston King and Donovan Kincaid, but I was in love with his world, their world, of parties and sex and power. I knew what I wanted--I knew who I wanted--until one night, their world tried to bite me back and Donovan saved me. He saved me, and then Weston finally noticed me, and I finally learned what it was to be in their world. And then what it was like to lose it.Ten years later, I've found my way back. Back to their world. Back to him.
This time, I'm ready. I've been down this road before, and I know all the dirty, filthy ways Donovan will try and wreck me.But it's hard to resist. Especially when I know how much I'll like it.

Your puppy does look so sad. :( I have three girls...all I can say is good luck. Mine are now 24, 22 and almost 20, but those teen years were hard...and my kids are really good kids, it's just all those emotions...yikes!
