Places to find KT:

I’m so happy to be here to at Ramblings From This Chick, not only to show off my new release, A Bid For Love but to talk about one of my all time favorite vacation destinations. A Bid for Love takes place in Las Vegas, one of the best places in the United States for adults to let loose and have fun.

I’ve been to Vegas three times, and each time it was a new experience for me. Even if you’re not into gambling, you can have the time of your life because there’s so much to do from the wonderful shows to see, to all the food to eat and touring the casinos along the Vegas strip.

One of place I must visit while in Vegas the official Coca-Cola store (http://www.coca-colastore.com/?trk_src_ss=CCSFGS40WEBPAYPC). I collect Coca-Cola items and have a growing collection. The Coca-Cola store, including the M&M store (http://www.mymms.com/merchandise/) is three stories of great fun! You can sit down in the Cola-Cola café and enjoy a Coca-Cola soda float and then head on over to the M&M store and create your own mix and match bag of M&M goodness. Both these stores are a treat for children and adults.

Vegas may be all about spending money, but there are many things you can see and for free. An eye popping, beautiful thing to watch are the fountains at the Bellagio. “several professionally choreographed musical routines and rushing water that soars as high as 460 feet from a total of 1,214 water-emitting devices, the $40-million, 8.5-acre lake is the most ambitious water feature ever created” (http://www.vegas.com/attractions/on_the_strip/bellagiofountains.html). The amazing fountain water show goes off every 15 minutes.

Many of the high end stores in the casinos are perfectly fine if you come in and check out the merchandise (in the hopes you’ll buy something). You can spend hours at the Streetmosphere at the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian. “Located in St. Mark's Square (in front of the Pandora store), "Carnevale di Venezia" plays throughout the day. If you arrive a few minutes early, you can buy gelato or coffee right by the stage. You'll also be guaranteed a good seat. The production is about 15 minutes long and includes Italian folk music and opera numbers. We guarantee you'll recognize a few of them, even though they're not in English. You can, however, sing along to the popular song, "That's Amore!" You'll definitely be belting out the chorus sometime after the show.” “(http://www.vegas.com/attractions/on_the_strip/streetmosphere.html). I would recommend you buy a cup of gelato and sit on a bench and people watch or roam around and pretend you’re in Italy on a European getaway.

But if you do have some cash to spend, you must try a gondola ride at the Venetian! I went on one myself and it was well worth the $16 for 30 minutes. (http://www.vegas.com/attractions/on_the_strip/gondola.html)
Las Vegas is well known for their amazing buffets. The two buffets you must go to while in Vegas is Bellagio’s buffet. (http://www.bellagio.com/restaurants/the-buffet.aspx). The dinner buffet is $30 and may seem pricy, but the amount of food to eat is out of this world! You’ll get fed very well there.

Another buffet is the Rio Casino buffet (http://www.riolasvegas.com/casinos/rio/restaurants-dining/carnival-world-buffet-detail.html). At $20 a person, you will eat yourself until you can’t walk. Their dessert portion of the buffet will make you get down on your knees with over seventy pies, cakes and other tasty treats to choose from.

There is only a small taste of what Vegas has to offer and if you need any more recommendations, I’m the woman to ask.

If you’ve been to Vegas or plan on going, what places and things to do would you recommend?

Anthony Conlin is a forty-one year old workaholic in love with his twenty-nine year old neighbor, Reece Whitmore, who looks like he belongs on the cover of GQ magazine. Anthony longs for Reece to the point of obsession, but doesn’t think he stands a chance because of their difference in age, his graying hair and a less than rock hard physique.

When Anthony’s friend, Jagger Castillo urges Anthony to try the matching services of One Night Stand, Anthony still refuses because of his crush on Reece. But Jagger, along with the help of Madame Evangeline, the owner of the 1NS has something up their sleeves to make certain Anthony and Reece finally get together.

A charity auction sets the stage and rolls into motion a night Anthony and Reece will never forget.

The ride up to the fortieth floor was pure torture. Although they were alone in the elevator, they stood so close together their shoulders brushed. Sweat trickled down Anthony’s back and he shifted his legs to ease his throbbing hard-on. A minute more and he’d have his hands down Reece’s pants and him back against the wall.

The doors opened with a ding and his shoulders relaxed in relief.

“Are you okay?” Reece frowned, staring at him as they walked out of the elevator and down the hall. “Your face is red.”

“Stuffy in there. I don’t like closed-in spaces,” he mumbled and unbuttoned the top button of his shirt.

Reece slid the key card into the lock. “I don’t think you’ll have to worry about confined spaces much longer.”

Anthony followed him into a room double the size of his condo. The floor-to ceiling windows provided a breathtaking view of the glittering Vegas skyline. In the center of the room was a hot tub big enough for six people. A full bar and a table covered with a sumptuous array of candies, cakes, and other dessert items stood off to their left.

“Would you get a load of this.” Reece wandered into the bedroom and inspected one of the plush maroon pillows. He sat on the bed and bounced. “Pretty durable.”

He tried not to stare at the king size bed with a cherry wood headboard, and airy comforter most likely hiding high quality cotton bed sheets that would whisper against a sleeping person’s skin. Cutting off a groan, he walked over to the bar where a pair of iced champagne bottles bracketed a dish of chocolate-covered strawberries, a favorite of his. Reece re-entered the room, kicked off his shoes, and removed his socks.

“What are you doing?”

“I’m going in the hot tub.” Reece began unbuttoning his shirt slowly as his eyes beckoned him to follow his lead.

Anthony focused on one of the strawberries. Clothes dropped to the floor, and then a deep, satisfied groan, and a small splash. He peered over his shoulder to find Reece, eyes closed and head resting against the edge of the tub, a satisfied expression on his handsome face.
I bet that’s how he looks after a night of lovemaking.

  2. I've been to Vegas 3 times. The first was for my daughters wedding at the Venetian, and then twice more with the hubby. I would recommend the fountain show at Bellagio for sure. But if you like to people watch it is a great place to just sit and view the eclectic mix of personalities.

  7. Hello KT,

Thank you for taking time to stop at Ramblings From This Chick to share with Us your recent release of your new M/M Erotic Romance, "A Bid For Love". I just LOVE the M/M genres & your new Book sounds GREAT!!! I'm definitely going to put it on my "to buy" list.

I have never been to Las Vegas before, but have always wanted to go. I'm not much of a gambler, but I would go for the Entertainment & the Food. :)

My Hubby & I don't live far from Altantic City & we often go there to have Dinner & see a Show, makes for a Great Evening together. But there are shows that never come to AC, for instance, I REALLY want to see Terry Fator, but he only performs at the Mirage in Vegas! I think he is Incredible.

I would very much appreciate if I could be entered into your giveaway of an eBook copy of "A Bid For Love". Unfortunately I'm not a member of Facebook or Twitter, but I filled out the sections of the Rafflecopter that I could. Thank You.

Take Care KT & Much Success on Your Recent Release,
