ReplyDeleteI used to be fairly ambivalent about them, but I've read some really good ones and have since become a fan. I find they're one of the few things that work realistically in novellas because the connection between the cahracters is already there.

ReplyDeleteWhen it comes to favorites, I don't have any that I can think of off the top of my head, but I've just recently read Shey Stahl's Racing on the Edge series which is a fantastic set of friends turning into lovers books. It follows one couple through the years and is just wonderful.
I dont have any favorites but I do like reading them. Thanks for the awesome giveaway.

ReplyDeleteI wrote a friends-to-lovers story and it was the hardest thing I've ever written. The problem was that they were perfect for each other and there was no good reason for them not to be together. Try creating conflict for two easy-going characters who totally love each other. NEVER again! LOL
