Interview with Author Elisabeth Grace and Giveaway

I have a soft spot for romance novels with happily ever afters and a hot spot for alpha males! I currently live outside Toronto, Canada with my hubby and two small children. Life is busy, but never to busy for a good story and to share my love of reading and writing with others.

Find Elisabeth at:

First off, can you tell us a bit about you?
I write New Adult and erotic romance, am a mommy to two small children, have a mild David Gandy obsession, love attending rock concerts, and could survive on bread, chocolate and potatoes alone.

Did you always want to be a writer?
When I was very young I did, and I’ve always written, but until I reached my 30’s I didn’t really think I could be. For some reason I thought it was for a select few, very fortunate people.

What kind of writer are you? Panster or Plotter?
I plot my story and pants my scenes. So I know where I’m headed, know what road I’m going down, but I don’t know how I’m going to get there or what the scenery will be on my travels.

Where do your ideas come from?
Most of my ideas start with a single scene in mind and I build from there. That scene in question usually just pops in my head, fully fleshed out and usually at a time when I can’t write it down! LOL

A la Twitter style, can you describe your book (or series) in 140 characters or less.
Woman is forced to rediscover herself after a one night stand, that doesn't stay that way.

What are some of your favorite kinds of stories to read?
My favorite stories probably all have humor, sexy times, an alpha male and just the right amount of angst.

Do you have a favorite book and if so what is it?
My favorite series is the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning…I could read it over and over again!

What are the scenes that are the hardest for you to write?
Oooh, probably the declaration of love scenes. I find it hard because I’m always really worried about bordering on the cheesy side with the man.

If you could have dinner with any three authors, who would you choose and why?
Karen Marie Moning, Karina Halle and Anne Stuart. All of these women speak their mind, have mad talent, and I’m sure have some great stories to share.

Last question, are you working on anything right now?
I’m currently finessing the final volume of the Indiscretion and then I have to start right in to writing Moment of Impact – a women’s fiction novel about a woman who wakes up after a 6 year coma to find her husband remarried and her daughter calling another woman mommy.

What is your view on serialized fiction? Love it? Hate it?

A summer of f*ck buddies? Something to take the edge off? I was down.

But when Chloe shows up at my hotel door, wanting to rip my head off, rather than give me head—I cared. A lot. Too much, in fact.

This is turning into more. And I can’t do more.

Like the ink under my skin she’s becoming permanent. Enduring. Immovable.

Was I ready to let her go though?

Not a f*cking chance.
