Sealed With a Kiss Event with Anna Harrington

Anna Harrington is a new author writing sexy Regency romances. She fell in love with historical romances—and all those dashing Regency heroes—while living in London. She loves to travel, fly airplanes, and hike, and when she isn’t writing, she spends her time killing innocent rose bushes in her garden.

Raised in two separate worlds, former army officer Nathaniel Grey and Lady Emily Matteson have waited five years for their love to blossom. Now that she’s a widow and he’s a War Office hero, will they live happily ever after, or will their two worlds pull them apart forever?

Check out Emily and Nathaniel's love story in Along Came a Rogue.

THE WICKEDEST SECRET . . .

Major Nathaniel Grey is free to bed whomever he wants, whenever he chooses, and that’s exactly how he likes it. His only loyalties are to country and the two friends he served with—brothers he’d do anything for. So when one of them is gravely injured and asking for his little sister, Grey will move heaven and earth to bring her home. He’s greeted not by the gangly girl he remembers, but a stunningly beautiful woman holding a loaded musket. And he’s utterly captivated by her…

IS A SECRET SEDUCTION

Once upon a time, Emily would have loved nothing more than a stolen hour with her brother’s best friend, the dashing officer who captured her heart and soul. But things are different now—and so is she. Gone is the eager young woman who believed in love. In her place is a widow weighed down with secrets who desperately needs to disappear before they’re revealed. But Nate’s sinfully sexy smile offers protection unlike anything she’s ever known, tempting her to risk everything…even her heart.

  1. Looks like this book is good enough to read. I don't really like such book, but this one seems to be not bad.

    1. I hope you give it a try. My heroines are not the traditional Regency ladies, so you might find it different from others. I hope you enjoy it!

    1. I'm glad you liked it! (Spoiler: she does! But not after a lot of pursuit by Grey). But if I had a handsome spy after me, I think I'd give in a lot sooner! :)

    1. I wish I could tell you! Oh, she has several...and they nearly cost her her life. But they are definitely not the traditional Regency romance heroine secrets, I can tell you that much. I hope you enjoy the book!

    1. Awww, you are so sweet! I'm glad you like my writing. I probably shouldn't admit it, but while this book is good, my favorite is the third one in the series, How I Married a Marquess.

  6. I want to know more about the secrets.
What kinds of books do you like to read?

    1. I can't tell you anymore about the secrets, except to say that if you read carefully, you'll see all kinds of clues leading up to it. :) Right now, I'm reading my way through all of Sabrina Jeffries's books, and my favorite Regency authors are Suzanne Enoch and Sabrina Jeffries. But I also love books about history, architecture, and gardening. I'm still hoping to learn how to stop killing my flowers.

    2. Oh, I do love a man who will wait it out with his lady love for her hand and most definitely if it was a teenage born love. Friends to Lovers~ But him referring her as Brat, the sweetest love ever! =D

      Delete
    3. "Brat" was the childhood nickname that her brother Thomas gave her, but when Grey met her when she was sixteen and asking him for a kissing lesson, the nickname stuck. My friends who have read the book love that nickname for her, too. It definitely fits when they're arguing!

  7. Emily's a tough one. Nathaniel is going to have to work hard to get her to marry him.

    1. Oh, does he ever! He goes to her house every day, sends her flowers (she sends them back, but keeps 1 rose from every dozen, thinking he'll never notice--he does!), writes her love notes, sends her little gifts of paints and pencils...and she refuses, all the while her heart is breaking because she truly loves him.

    1. Thank you for your kind words! I hope you do put it on your list. I think it's pretty good...but I might be a bit biased! :) If you like strong women who break the Regency romance stereotype, check out the series--I hope you like it!

  9. Hi Anna, your cover for ROGUE is fantastic! All that purple.... Beautiful! I've never read anything by you but I was thinking about getting DUKES. Now I come here and see your covers. I would buy all three books for their covers alone! It would be very nice to win ROGUE. Make my Valentine's Day, Anna! :-) Thanks!!

    1. I have no control over winner selection (But I will keep my fingers crossed for you!) The covers *are* beautiful, aren't they? I should lie and claim that I did the covers... :) They are certainly unique. I *LOVE* the purple, too, on this one. Just a fun-fact--on DUKES, the flower that Kate is holding in her hand is just like the David Austen rose Grace, of which I have several in my garden.

    1. She *thinks* she does...and she does it because she loves him and wants the best for him. But she doesn't realize that the best for him is her, of course. I wish I could tell you more, but it would give far too much away! I hope you enjoy reading the story.

  15. what a lovely letter - even tho it is addressed to 'Brat'!

    1. That's his nickname for her, and sometimes she acts like one (especially when she's pushing him away!) Her brother gave her that nickname when they were kids, and since Grey wants desperately to deny his first feelings for her and think of her as nothing more than a little sister, he uses that name...but that resistance doesn't last long!

    1. You're right! Which is so conflict-y because they both really love each other and want nothing more than to be together, but they love each other sooooo much that they think it's best for the other one if they stay apart. I'm so glad that came across in the letters.
