Pumpkin Spice What?!
I’m cool getting autumn off to a tasty start with a pumpkin spice latte, but I’m wondering if the pumpkin spice craze might’ve gone a little, well, crazy. Here’s a short list of some items I’ve come across that made me go hmm…
- Pumpkin Spice Hummus
- Pumpkin Spice Candy Corn (Candy Corn is perfect just the way it is!)
- Pumpkin Spice Seltzer Water
- Pumpkin Spice Dental Chews for Dogs (Dogs!)
- Pumpkin Spice Toothpaste (Just ick!)
- Pumpkin Spice Body Powder
- Pumpkin Spice Chicken Sausage (Really?)
If you’re up to your teeth in Pumpkin Spice, how about giving another awesome autumn flavor a go? Sweet potato! These Sweet Potato-Pecan Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting deliver melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness. (And it’s impossible to eat just one!) Oh, that reminds me. There are also pumpkin spice potato chips—for real!

You’re going to love those cupcakes, I promise. And while you’re waiting for them to come out of the oven, why not start reading TEMPTED IN THE TROPICS, my sweet and sassy, make you happy, enemies to lovers story? Find out how a feisty bakery owner and the new dishy doctor in town become enemies during their first conversation.
“Contemporary, heartfelt and chock full of lively characters who make it magically delicious. An unforgettable, quirky romance.” —an RT Book Reviews TOP PICK!
Whether you stick with pumpkin spice, mix it up with sweet potatoes, or indulge in both, I hope your autumn is super-tasty. And if you’ve got some scratch-your-head pumpkin spice items to add to my list, I’d love to hear about them!
The only thing they agree on is the sultry heat between them.Paige Ellerbee's life is far from perfect after moving back to small-town Maple Creek--there's her struggling bakery, Sweet Bee's; her aging father; and the fact she's practically the only single girl in town. But when Lane Anderson, the town's hot--and young!--new doctor, moves in next door, she wouldn't mind receiving some intensive care...until their first conversation starts a feud.Lane came to Maple Creek to lay low after inadvertently being associated with a pill-prescribing scandal. When the gorgeous blonde next door asks for his help with a program that could raise eyebrows, he has to refuse. He's been burned in the past when blinded by love, yet Paige's feisty personality has his blood running hot. When a little matchmaking lands Lane at Paige's best friend's wedding in St. Lucia, suddenly the romantic island vibe tempts them to kiss and make up. A temporary truce might be just what they both want--but forever love might be more than they can agree on.

The Pumpkin Spice Latte, actually. I LOOOOOOVE coffee! But this one is just... No! I dont like it at all and I don't get why people love it so much!
ReplyDeleteI've only had a sample of one, which tasted pretty good because it was piled with whipped cream! 🙃
DeleteI know a few people that would like pumpkin spice bacon. Yuk!! Hahaha! I'm not a pumpkin spice or any other kind of pumkin liker.
ReplyDeleteNo pumpkin bacon, please! I'm with you on that one, Jane. 😊
DeletePumpkin Spice Tortilla Chips at Trader Joe's. Some may find this yummy but I think it's yucky!
ReplyDeleteThat's another one that makes me go hmm... 🤔
DeletePumpkin Spice M&M's!
ReplyDeleteI like to keep things simple. How many flavors of M&Ms are we up to now? I lost track back at crispy...or maybe it was pretzel! 😉
DeleteAnother Trader Joe's special is Pumpkin Spice pita chips. They are actually kinda tasty. They also have pumpkin mochi ice cream bites, but I haven't tried those.
ReplyDeleteSounds as if Trader Joe's owns some pumpkin farms somewhere! 😬
DeleteI love pumpkin pie but am not a big pumpkin spice fan. I think the funniest I've seen is pumpkin spice condoms!
ReplyDeleteOh. My. Stars. LOL!
DeletePumpkin Spice Tampax, Pumpkin Spice Trojan condoms, Pumpkin Spice Monistat 7....what???
ReplyDeleteSeriously?! This makes the things on my list seem normal. 😝
DeleteI'm not a pumpkin spice loving person, but I think added to whipped cream to top hot chocolate would be kind of good.
ReplyDelete@Marcy Meyer...seriously? Your list is so funny!
I like your idea, Karen--I'm a huge fan of whipped cream. It's yummy on pumpkin bread, too (sticking with the theme)! 😬
DeleteHi, Tracy - that recipe looks great!
ReplyDeleteI can't say I'm ever on the lookout for pumpkin-spiced items - but I'm definitely with you on the daily pizza craving.
Oh, Barbara! I can't even get started on my love for pizza! 🍕❤️ I do encourage you to try the cupcakes, though. You can eat them for dessert after your last slice of pizza is gone! 😋
DeleteTracy - we may be twins!! You don't happen to eat dessert after breakfast, do you? ;)
DeletePumpkin spice everything already makes me shake my head...but how about pumpkin spice lipstick?! Ewwww
ReplyDeleteMaybe I should've asked if there's anything we HAVEN'T seen with pumpkin spice! 😉
DeletePumpkin spice Licorice.
ReplyDeleteGood grief! Can't say I'm going to run out and buy a bunch of that! 😝
DeleteCan't think of any off the wall item at the moment, but I enjoyed reading yours and other people's lists.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping in and commenting, Jess! Happy reading! 😬
DeleteFirst of all, pumpkin flavor is gross. I will go with pumpkin spice Oreos. Gross, gross, gross!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a huge Oreo fan to begin with, Sharlene, so I'm thinking we shouldn't make them more icky with pumpkin spice! ;)
DeleteHow about some pumpkin spice Triskets? Yeah as in the cracker, Trisket....
ReplyDeleteNo thanks to those, too. Sometimes it's best to leave a good thing alone, right? :)
DeleteDefinitely. I love Triskets, but Pumpkin Spice ones? Not even gonna try those!
DeletePumpkin spice ice cream and Oreos. Neither sound good to me!
ReplyDeleteI might be persuaded by the ice cream since it's, well, ice cream! ;)
DeleteI'm not a fan of pumpkin spiced anything so your list just makes me shake my head. I'll add Pumpkin Spiced Marshmallows and Pumpkin Spiced Listerine to your list!
ReplyDeleteSeriously, Ada? Listerine?! Just plain no! :)
DeletePumpkin Spice Oreos
ReplyDeleteHi, Kim! Can't say I'll be buying these. Did you? I'd love to know what you thought of them. Nice to see you here. Thanks for stopping by and commenting! :)
