I’m so thrilled to be included in the Fall into Romance Bliss Event!
Fall is my hands-down favorite season. Here in Southeast Michigan, we’re having one of the most beautiful falls we’ve had in years. The skies have been blue, the temperatures in the 60’s, and the trees have begun their magical transition from green to some of the most vibrant colors imaginable.
While I’m writing my next Lake Bliss book, I’ve got my cinnamon candles lit and some candy corn to munch on. I love watching out the window as the leaves flutter to the ground. The raking part, not so much fun, but I love burning leaves. Something about that smell…
I’ve put away my light summer grilling recipes and am digging out my favorite soup, bread and stew recipes. It’s like revisiting old friends who’ve been away! And while I’m not much of a football fan, I enjoy hearing it in the background while I cook.
I know that old man Winter is on its way, but for now I’m loving the Fall! Let me know what your favorite part of Fall is, won’t you?
For one last glimpse of summer, I’m giving away a print copy of my book, Just For the Summer.
His temptation. Her secret. Their summer.
Dani Sullivan has come to Lake Bliss to write her latest cookbook and take a breather. After the year she’s had, she deserves a summer retreat to reevaluate priorities and make peace with past decisions. But from the moment single dad and sheriff Matt Reagan shows up, she has a hard time convincing herself that a life away from Lake Bliss could beat the life she might have here.
Recently divorced Matt is ready for a new relationship, but he doesn’t want short-term—his son needs permanence, and so does Matt’s heart. Unfortunately, it’s the smart-mouthed and sinfully sexy Ms. Sullivan who catches his eye. But when Matt learns Dani’s secrets, will he still want her to stay? Or will her chance for love last just for the summer?

My favourite part is leaves changing colors and the fact my birthday is in october.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a happy October birthday, Irma!
DeleteThank you :)
DeleteMy favorite part of fall is the cooler temperatures. It has been really hot here. Thanks for having the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're getting a break from the hot weather, Anita!!
DeletePumpkin spice lattes :) Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteOh, that sounds good!
DeleteMy favorite part of Fall has changed over the years, actually. It used to be the seasonal treats such as pumpkin pie and spiced wafer cookies, but I changed my mind as a result of a mistake. I was working a night shift and ended up not having a ride home, and so I was forced to sit outside and wait (and yes I had to wait in the dark by myself!) but I discovered the most gorgeous October night sky that I never would've noticed had I been able to leave early.
ReplyDeleteI've noticed a few amazing sunsets in the last week or so, too!

ReplyDeleteI like the changing colors and the smell in the air in the fall.
Marcy Shuler
Marcy, thanks for the compliment. I totally agree with you on the color changes. And the fall smell is awesome!
ReplyDeleteI do love the turning of the leaves.
ReplyDeleteI love the kids trick or treating. They are so cute in their costumes.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of fall is the pumpkin food, seeds, pies, lattes, mousse and custards.
ReplyDeleteIt's got to be the cooler weather in the Fall. The hot temps in the summer and I just don't get along! :)
ReplyDeleteThe turning of the leaves. Love when leaf chance color.
ReplyDeletewhat I miss most about fall is living in Michigan, the trips to the cider mill, apple orchard and hayrides to the pumpkin patch. Florida is nice but hard to adjust. Our trees don't turn color but the leaves are dropping, one day last week I was able to open windows, the air has been on since early April.
ReplyDeleteFavorite part of fall is watching the geese fly in formation overhead on their way south for the winter! Although they are quite noisy, it's very cool to watch them fly by.
