Q. Keeping with the Spirit of Giving this season, what book do you think EVERYONE should read and if you could, you would buy it for all of your family and friends?

There are quite a few books that I could list that I think everyone should read.

For anyone that's a fan of Paranormal or really anyone that loves a strong, sexy Alpha male I would suggest Dark Lover by JR Ward. It's the first book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood and this is a series I don't think anyone should miss out on. It's freaking AWESOME!

Now for anyone who loves Historical romance I would suggest Because You're Mine by Lisa Kleypas. I LOVED this book. It has such a great love story that just tugs at your heart.

Q: What is your biggest pet peeve when it comes to books? Maybe you don't like love triangles or thin plots? Tell us about it!

There are a few things that bug me when I'm reading. I really hate when I'm reading a contemporary book and the hero or heroine are constantly using the word baby, honey, or any other sappy endearment. I actually tend to stay away from contemporaries because of this. 

I'm also not the biggest fan of over the top story lines. I want to believe that what I'm reading could possibly happen. Yes, I know that I love vampires books and that they aren't real, but if the story is good then I can believe that they are real. If somehow one of the characters in the story suddenly able to live forever and it's not explained and the power was just given to them just because, I get super frustrated.

Wow, such a deep question. I have many friends that are in the military. I salute them all. They have the courage and bravery that I don't. I could never go off and fight for my country. So to all the soldiers, I salute you.

Q:  If you could have dinner with your favorite book character, who would you eat with and what would you serve?

Okay, so my favorite book character is Zsadist from the BDB but I'll be honest and say I don't know if I would want to have dinner with him alone. Don't get me wrong, I lurve me some Zsadist, but I tend to be on the shy side and he tends to be on the quiet side so I think it would be one really awkward dinner with us both just sitting there eating. So I'm going to go with my second favorite character which happens to be Rhage. I think Rhage would be an awesome dinner companion. He could tell me cheesy jokes. It wouldn't be awkward at all. Now for dinner, I think we would have a little of everything. Cuz I don't know if you've read his book or not, but the man can eat and that is no exaggeration. =)

Q. What superhero is your alter-ego?

Um, this one is really hard. I really don't know much about superheroes except for the biggies like Superman and Batman and I don't really think I'm like either of them. I wish I could say that I'm cool and work well under pressure but sadly I don't. I tend to spaz out and a have a slight case of OCD. So any superhero that is like that would be me I guess.

Q. If you could have characters from a particular book meet and form an epic storyline with characters from a particular TV series, which would you choose and why?

Hmm...I think if I could mash up Buffy the Vampire Slayer with either Twilight or The Black Dagger Brotherhood. I think that would make for a very interesting combo. Could you imagine Buffy kicking the ass of the Volturi or her trying to get along with the sexy warriors of the BDB? That would be epic!

Q. If you could pick one character in a book, movie or television show to swap places with, who would it be?

These questions sure don't get any easier do they? I'm not sure if I would really want to switch places with anyone. I would miss my boyfriend too much. There are a few different characters from that I wouldn't mind swapping places with, the only downfall is the world that they live in. All of the characters I can think of are based in a paranormal world, and I honestly don't want to deal with any sort of baddies. I'm kind of a wuss and I definitely don't want to fight any vamps or demons like Buffy does. I also wouldn't mind swapping places with Elizabeth Bennett, but I'm not too fond of living without running water, air conditioning and indoor plumbing. 

I guess if I were to pick anyone that I would go with Samantha Baker from 16 Candles. Yes, her parents forget her birthday, but it's totally worth it in the end because she gets Jake Ryan. And who doesn't want that hunky hottie?

Q. What book that hasn't been turned into a movie (yet) would you most like to see make it to the big screen, and who would you like cast as your favorite character?

Wow, this is a hard one for me. I used to get really excited whenever any of the books I loved were going to be turned into movies, now not so much. I have seen books that I have loved and cherished, completely ruined because they either cast the wrong people or they changed the plot so that I don't even recognize it anymore. So I honestly don't know what I would pick that I would be okay with "Hollywood" changing.

Q. Do you have a favorite series that you read over and over again? Tell us a bit about it and why you keep on revisiting it?

That is an easy answer-The Black Dagger Brotherhood by JR Ward. I swear, I just can't get tired of reading this series. Ever since I first picked up the first book Dark Lover, I've been hooked. I just love the world  that JR Ward has created. From her from her fiercely sexy warriors to even the Lessers that they fight. I just LOVE these books. Just hearing others talk about these books and I feel the need to pick them up and start them all over again. I honestly don't know why they resonate with me so much but I just can't get enough of them. I pretty much devour everything I can on the books and the sexy warriors that are within. They are like crhack and I need my fix.

Q. It's that pesky magic book fairy again! She has another wish: What imaginary book world would you like to make a reality?

This is a hard question because there are just so many different books that I want to make a reality. My only issue is most of the books that I want to be real have a lot of scary baddies in them and I know I definitely don't want to encounter them. But if I could somehow escape meeting the bad guys and just see all the cool things then I would love for the world of Harry Potter to be real. I just think it would be awesome to be able to do magic. 


My other choice would be the Black Dagger Brotherhood books. I sooo want to meet all of those sexy and fierce warriors!

Q. Have you ever wanted a villain to win at the end of a story? If so, which one?

Good question! When I was younger I remember there were a couple of books that I read where I had wanted the villain to win, now as to which books those were, I have no clue. Since I began reading adult books I haven't wanted any villains to win. Now I will say there are a few that I have found myself sort of sympathizing with.

Q. If you could change the ending of any book (or series), which book would you choose? Why and to what?

Wow, what a way to make me think. The only book I can think of is Breaking Dawn. When I read it I had to put it down several times because it just made me so angry! For me, it just felt so fake and contrived. Breaking Dawn felt like a completely different book from the others in the series and it just didn't seem to mesh well with the others. I felt like I was reading a sci-fi/fantasy, rather than a vampire love story.


 If I could change it, I would just like it to be more like the first three books. I don't want Bella to get preggers and pop out a muntant hybrid baby that grows super fast and is mated to Jacob. (Gag!) If you remove all of that I would like it so much more.

Q. In books like the Sookie Stackhouse (True Blood) series the paranormal creature in question "comes out of the closet" and makes itself known to the world. Which mythical creature do you wish would come out of the closet, for real?

Definitely Faeries. I think out of all the mythical creatures, they are the only ones that wouldn't freak me out hardcore. I love vampires and shifters but if I were to ever come across one I would literally pee my pants and that's not sexy.

Q. If you could write yourself a part in a book, what book would it be and what role would you play in that book?

I would love to be the spunky side-kick. I hate when a lot of attention is on me so I definitely don't want to be the heroine. Now I love reading paranormals, but I honestly think I would pee my pants if I ever came face to face with a real Vampire. So I think it would be interesting to be in a historical romance. I want to be witness to someone falling passionately in love.
