ARC Review: Take Two by Heather M. Orgeron

I was really excited to read Take Two by Heather M. Orgeron when I first read the blurb. I love second chance romances, especially ones with couples who have been divorced and find their way back to one another. This one was cute and I enjoyed it, but I didn’t love it.

Nya and Liam were great together and it was clear that love wasn’t ever the problem. I especially loved how supportive and generous Liam was. He was such a great father and husband. I hated that because of one poor decision he made when he was young, Nya did what she did. Especially because Nya was short sighted and immature about how she handled a lot. She was very reactive and hard to connect to for me. I kept waiting for her to figure things out and realize how great Liam really was and thankfully she did.

I think readers will enjoy this one like I did, but I have to say that Nya was ultimately what kept me from loving this book. I still think it was worth reading, but I just wish that we had been given a heroine I felt really deserved Liam because he was one of a kind and such a great character! Liam is what heroes are made of and I couldn’t get enough of him!
