Feature and Giveaway: It's Getting Scot in Here by Suzanne Enoch
HAPPILY-EVER-AFTER
London socialite Amelia-Rose Baxter is nobody’s fool. Her parents may want her to catch a title, but she will never change who she is for the promise of marriage. Her husband will be a man who can appreciate her sharp mind as well as her body. A sophisticated man who loves life in London. A man who considers her his equal—and won’t try to tame her wild heart...
IN THE HIGHLANDS
Rough, rugged Highlander Niall MacTaggert and his brothers know the rules: the eldest must marry or lose the ancestral estate, period. But Niall’s eldest brother just isn’t interested in the lady his mother selected. Is it because Amelia-Rose is just too. . . Free-spirited? Yes. Brazen? Aye. Surely Niall can find a way to soften up the whip-smart lass and make her the perfect match for his brother for the sake of the family.
JUST GOT A WHOLE LOT HOTTER.
Instead it’s Niall who tempts Amelia-Rose, despite her reservations about barbarian Highlanders. Niall finds the lass nigh irresistible as well, but he won’t make the mistake his father did in marrying an Englishwoman who doesn’t like the Highlands. Does he have what it takes to win her heart? There is only one way to find out...

ARC Review: Make Me Yours by Tia Louise
Make Me Yours is a standalone story from Tia Louise, however if you have read her book Make You Mine, you will recognize Ruby. She is Drew’s best friend, and Drew and Gray make a few appearances in this book. For fans of that book, you will enjoy Ruby’s story but new readers won’t feel as though they have missed anything. I highly recommend reading both books though, as I enjoyed both of them a lot!
Remington Key needs help raising his young daughter while trying to launch his business after the loss of his wife. So when he meets Ruby in a bar while both of them are slightly drunk, offering her a full time live-in nanny position seems like a good idea to both of them. They can overlook the intense attraction between them to make the situation work. But the more time they spend together and the closer Ruby gets to his daughter Lillie, the more they each begin to realize that what is between them is more than they can fight.
I loved Remi, Ruby and Lillie. Remi and Ruby had great chemistry and a strong connection. It was there right from the start and just continued to strengthen as she became such a big part of Remi and Lillie’s lives. I couldn’t get enough of her with Lillie. They were so cute together and had a great connection like she had with Remi. It was easy to see how he fell for Ruby when she was around his daughter and made Lillie the center of her world. I loved the heat and attraction between Remi and Ruby, but I just loved the family that they were building. It just felt so real and genuine, and like Ruby was always meant to be with them.
Overall, this was a great story. I loved the characters and getting to see some familiar faces. I can’t wait for Stay, a standalone story coming soon from Tia about a character we meet in this book! Tia Louise is a great author and never disappoints. This is a great book that I know romance readers, especially contemporary fans will enjoy!

ARC Review: Devil's Daughter by Lisa Kleypas
I could not wait for this book! When I was reading “Devil in Spring” Phoebe’s character kept grabbing my attention and I could not wait to see what Kleypas had in store for her. West Ravenel was introduced in the first book of the Ravenel series “Cold-Hearted Rake” and ever since then I have been waiting for his story! What an amazing series! I must confess I have not read all the books in the series but I was anticipating this one!
For anyone that has not read Kleypas before (gasp), she also wrote “Devil in Winter” one of my all time favorite stories. I have read it so many times I have lost count. Here she introduced Sebastian, Lord St. Vincent. He marries a stammering wallflower in which with the Ravenels we have a chance to see how their life has unfolded as a married couple with children. Phoebe is the daughter of Sebastian and Evangeline.
Phoebe is beautiful and a widow. She married her childhood sweetheart but he passed away before he could see the birth of their second son. Phoebe has always hated West because he tormented her husband as a child. West is by no means perfect and he is his own worst enemy. When a young man he was often found drinking, womanizing and making mayhem in society. In the first book of the series, he begins his transformation and dedicates himself to helping his brother and his decaying estate. Now in, “Devils Daughter” he is admired by the people that work alongside him and has changed his ways. Phoebe doesn’t think that he has changed from the brute that use to terrorize her husband and West refuses to forgive himself. When Phoebe attends her brothers wedding, at the door to greet her is none other than West.
Phoebe quickly loses her reservations about West and realizes that he is a very changed man and one that she wants to get to know quickly. West does not find himself worthy of her and doesn’t see himself worthy of her love.
This story was everything! It was full of emotion, ache, chemistry, sweetness, love, beautiful scenes, beautiful storyline, beloved characters from previous books. I have to confess that I expected Kleypas to make Phoebe and West more adversary but she did not and it worked beautifully. The one scene at the dinner table where they are sitting together was so sweet and loving that I just instantly knew this story was going to be heartbreaking and sweet and it was! Sebastian plays a very prominent role in the story and in many ways help West find his worth in the love that he does not think himself worthy of! I read this book quickly then slowly and then I skimmed it again. I loved it so much and is already a top read for 2019. I cannot recommend or love this story enough.

ARC Review: When August Ends by Penelope Ward
I absolutely love Penelope Ward’s books, and this one was right up my alley, being an older man younger woman book. I knew I had to read this story and Penelope didn’t disappoint. When August Ends hooked me from the beginning and I couldn’t put it down. While this one didn’t feel like Penelope’s past works to me, I really enjoyed it and can’t wait for more from her!
When Heather’s mother became ill, she ended up staying to help out instead of going to college. Now she helps out by cleaning and taking care of her family’s boathouse and the tenants that rent it. So when sexy older man Noah shows up, she isn’t prepared to be as drawn to him as she is. But they get off to an embarrassing start in which Noah makes it clear that nothing will happen between them, though there is an obvious connection between them. The more they spend time together, the closer they become. Soon Heather’s feelings grow even stronger for Noah and Noah finds it harder to to fight what he feels for Heather. But with Noah leaving at the end of August, they both know that things are far from simple.
I loved the connection between Heather and Noah. Especially that things started off as a bit awkward and turned into a strong friendship. Things progressed naturally and it was so real between them. They had chemistry right from the start, but it was so much more than that. I love that Noah encouraged Heather and wanted what was best for her, even if that meant denying what he felt for her. I was glad that Heather never gave up though as they were meant for each other. They were so great together and I couldn’t get enough of them.
Overall, I really liked this story and the characters. Penelope Ward is one of my all time favorite authors. I love her stories and that her characters are unique. I always recommend her books to fans of the contemporary romance genre and she continues to prove why she is a must buy author for me. If you like older man/younger woman romance novels, this is one you should definitely check out. I can’t wait to see what Penelope writes next!
