Guest Post with Author Sasha Summers and Giveaway

Today I would like to welcome to RFTC author Sasha Summers. Sasha is celebrating the recent release of her book Hollywood Ever After and has stopped by to chat. Before I give the floor over to Sasha, lets learn a bit about her.

Sasha is part gypsy. Her passions have always been storytelling, history, romance, and travel. She writes both lyrical romantic fantasy AND steamy contemporary romance. Her first play was written for her Girl Scout troupe. She's been writing ever since. She loves getting lost in the worlds and characters she creates; even if she frequently forgets to run the dishwasher or wash socks when she's doing so. Luckily, her four brilliant children and hero-inspiring hubby are super understanding and supportive.

Thank you for having me on your blog! And thanks for letting me chat up Hollywood Ever After!

I think one of the things that I’ve enjoyed the most about this book is the cast of characters. I adore my hero and heroine, Josh and Claire, but there are so many wonderful supporting characters too.

Shannon is the catalyst. She likes to ‘stir the pot’, but she doesn’t do it with evil intentions. She’s one of those people that see things a certain way and want everyone else to see them that way too.

Marty is Claire’s mom. She’s a handful, but she’s also pretty awesome. She lives with Claire, helps with the kids, and is her biggest fan.

Will and Natalie are Claire’s kids. Will is 5-ish and Natalie is a young teenager. They’re sweet kids, solid and funny. Natalie is a lot quicker to pick up on her mom’s new relationship and is stunned. After all, how many of us have parents that date movie stars. Will is less impressed by the movie star thing. He’s more interested in dragons and clotted crème, but he accepts Josh into the family pretty quick.

Josh’s sister Helen is a treat. As was Josh’s father, Nathan. And putting Nathan and Marty together, now that was a lot of fun to write… They are hilarious.

When the book was over I didn’t want to say good-bye to the characters. Lucky for me, my publisher didn’t want to either. Claire and Josh will be back, as supporting characters this time. And so will the rest of them – with a few fun additions as well. Be on the lookout for Hollywood Holiday, coming this December – it’ll be a great stocking stuffer! ;)

She wasn’t meant for movie stars, Hollywood, or happy endings. And then she met him.

Happy Endings are for fairy tales. Or the movies. Not for real life. At least, not in Claire’s life. Even though she’s starting over, she knows better than to want too much this time. But when she falls, literally, into the strong arms of Hollywood’s ‘it’ boy Josh Wiley, Claire’s in for some surprises.

Her plans for rest and relaxation are forgotten as one incredible night with Josh becomes two…

And her heart begins to want him as much as her body. Will two kids, one bastard ex-husband, and Josh’s juggernaut career mean the end of their affair?

Or can Claire find her happy ending after all?
