The Christmas Promise

There's nothing more romantic than Christmastime. The beauty of all the lights and decorations as you curl up together by the fire as the lights from the tree twinkle. There's a special magic that comes with celebrating the season with the one you love. At Christmastime, couples get excited about the promise of true love and some girls are even kissed by their very own prince charming. Listening to great music can add warmth to the sentiment of the spirit of the holiday.

Can you imagine having a winter wonderland themed wedding at Christmas time. Of course, in my book, “The Christmas Promise,” I feature one of my all-time favorite singers Luther Vandross. Even though the song “So Amazing” isn’t holiday themed, I chose it because I believe it expressed the sentiment of the couple. Both Simeon and Jennifer walked down the aisle to this beautiful, heartwarming song. I love the part- “I'll follow you to the moon and sky above.”

Using the decor from Christmas as a backdrop for their wedding ceremony, Jennifer and Simeon created an festive atmosphere of wonder making hearts even more joyful as they promised to love each other for the rest of their lives. With that in mind, I wanted to share my top five Christmas songs. These songs evoke emotion and touch the soul. Of course, I had to add Luther Vandross’ “So Amazing” to the list, so let’s make it six. LOL
