Guest Post with Author Lacy Danes and Giveaway

Today I would like to welcome to the blog author, Lacy Danes. Lacy is celebrating the release of Waterfall, book 1 in her Dragon's Fate series and she has stopped by to chat. Please give Lacy a warm welcome.

Lacy Danes made a New Year's resolution to write a hot, historical romance.

A year and a half later, she achieved her goal. She lives in Portland, Oregon, where besides writing she enjoys playing cards, chasing her kids around, and savoring a great martini with the man of her dreams all while watching the world go by.

Places to find Lacy:

Hello and thank you for having me here today as I promote Waterfall the first story in my Dragon’s Fate series.

Music and inspiration:

My husband and I love to listen to music. I grew up playing piano, saxophone, and violin. Though I think I may have missed my calling as a drummer. Grin. I love to pick out the drumbeat and air drum away to my favorite music. My favorite female drummer is Meg from the White Stripes. I know she no longer plays, but man I love her thumping beat.

Because my hubby and I have a passion for really good music we have an amazing sound system.

We have a Rega P7 for our turntable.
McIntosh-MVP 841 CD player
McIntosh-C2300 Tube PreAmp
Carver Power Amp
McIntosh-MC 275 Tube Power Amp.

Or speakers are Sonus Faber Cremona Monitors and JL Audio base.

We tend to listen to a lot of vinyl so the tube system is amazing for that.

For our digital music we use a Mac Mini Server with an Ayre QB9 DAC through the same system. A few years ago we ripped all of our CDs to digital and donated them to the library. We donated over 800 CDs, which we can now play on shuffle. Grin.

Our next big audio purchase will be to integrate our TV audio so that we can hear it through the audio system we have. But we will be saving up for awhile to manage that.

It's easy to fall in love. Destiny requires tooth and claw.

Curses are designed to be cruel, but the one afflicting Jordan and his brothers is almost beyond bearing. A dragon born by blood magic, he is an immortal trapped in human form, with only one hope of finding his eternal mate. He must bite her—and pray she lives.

One dark night, he senses the wounded heartbeat of a woman in the shadows, begging him to end her life. Ever the gentleman, he chivalrously obliges her wish. Only to discover three days later that she lives. And has married another.

Celeste always dreamed of marrying for love, but the nightmare of living in her father's home drives her to wed the Duke of Hudson. Yet on her wedding eve, she is compelled to follow a mysterious man who professes to know her secret. A man with curious blue scales on his muscular arms—whose shadowed eyes reflect a dangerous mix of destiny and desire…

Warning: This novel contains explicit sex, sex in water, four super-hot dragon brothers, and a curse born from magical power that has left them wondering who they are all their lives.
