ARC Review: Closet Confession by Kindle Alexander

Closet Confession by Kindle Alexander was first published as part of the Night Shift Anthology, but is being re-released as a standalone story. This new version contains bonus scenes not first included in the anthology, with approximately 10,000 additional words included. Closet Confession is a short contemporary male/male story featuring the sexy Dr. Derek Babineaux and the quiet nurse Justin Delacroix. The attraction between these two is clear, but Justin has his reasons for staying away from Dr. Baby. But as things heat up between them, can Justin continue to avoid what is so obviously happening between them?

I really liked these two. They were sweet and sexy, and I loved how they were together. These two were super hot behind closed doors, and things absolutely smoldered between them. There was a bit of angst and tension here, but it just continued to build upon the intense passion between them. I loved seeing these two tip toe around each other until that was no longer possible, and once all was revealed I was so happy with how things played out! These two were so much fun to read about, and I will be completely honest when I say that I couldn't get enough of them. In fact that was my only real complaint here, I wanted more! I loved the bonus scenes and it was worth it to read this just for those alone. But I would have loved even more about these two, and I found them so interesting. I think they easily could have had their own full length novel. Besides the fact that I am greedy here and wanted more, I would say that this is a great story. Not that I had any doubt with the name Kindle Alexander attached to the story. Kindle Alexander is one of my favorite male/male authors, and they continue to prove with each new story why they are such fantastic writers. I highly recommend anything with their name on it, and I will continue to read whatever they write. Closet Confession was short, sexy, and sweet. Even being a short story, this one had more than enough emotion and depth to keep me turning the pages and fully invested.
