USA Today best-selling author Kimberly Kincaid writes romantic suspense that sizzles and contemporary romance with heart and heat. Equal parts action and emotion, her firefighters and first responders always save the day.
When she's not finding adventure with her husband and three daughters, she can be found practicing obscene amounts of yoga, whipping up anything from enchiladas to éclairs in her kitchen, or curled up with her nose in a book.
Kimberly's series include Station Seventeen, the Line series, Cross Creek, and her brand-new Remington Medical series. All titles stand alone for easy reading.

My first love was Judy Blume. I was in the sixth grade, and someone had snuck a dog-eared, falling-apart copy of Forever from the public library into school. A group of girls sat around at recess and covertly passed the book back and forth, blushing and giggling at the racy parts and falling in love with, well, falling in love. But I was falling in love with something else.
Romance novels.
As I moved up the ranks through middle and high school, I made my way through dozens and dozens of romance novels. Danielle Steele (I snuck, then later borrowed outright, every one my mother bought), Nora Roberts, Jude Deveraux. I didn't so much read their books as I devoured them like cheesecake, in the way that you want to eat it and savor it all at once. This is not to say I didn't read and love other genres. Jodi Picoult, Sue Monk Kidd, John Grisham, Janet Evanovich...I love them, too. But there's just something about romance, about seeing strong heroines and heroes overcome obstacles to learn more about themselves and fall in love along the way, that gives me butterflies every single time. And while I have many loves now--too many to name, really--that very first love was Judy Blume.
So, tell me, readers! Who's yours?

His second chance is his only chance
Parker Drake wants exactly one thing—to fulfill his dream of becoming a doctor. Between his reputation as a rule-breaker and the six years that have passed since his first internship ended in disaster, he knows he’s only getting one shot at a second chance. He’ll do anything to put the past behind him and reach his goal…including work with the gorgeous ex-wife he’s never gotten over losing.
All work and no play make surgeon Charleston Becker a very happy woman. But when she’s tasked with mentoring her ex-husband through his second chance as an intern, her signature calm is put to the test. She’s not interested in re-hashing the heartbreaking circumstances that ended their marriage, and the six years that have passed haven’t made Parker less reckless. The last thing she’s willing to do is trust him—even if she does find him sexier than ever.
But familiarity breeds forgiveness, which then becomes a passion that threatens the careers Parker and Charlie have worked for. Can they turn their second chance into a happy ending? Or is history bound to repeat itself?
This steamy contemporary medical romance can be read as a standalone.
