ARC Review: Cape Cod Promises by Bella Andre and Melissa Foster

Bella Andre and Melissa Foster are pretty much the queens of contemporary romance. I absolutely love their solo books, and the Love on Rockwell Island from both of them is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Cape Cod Promises is the second in the series, but it can be read as a standalone with interconnected characters. If you haven't read Cape Cod Kisses yet, I would highly recommend it even though it isn't necessary to understand Cape Cod Promises. 

Trent Rockwell appears to have everything. He is a successful lawyer and has a large and loving family, but the one thing missing is having a woman he loves to share his life with. After the failure of his marriage to Reese Nicholson, he tried to move on but has never been able to forget her. After moving back to Cape Cod Bay to help run the family's resort, he runs into Reese again after years apart. Though things might have ended between them years before, their feelings for one another never went away. Now after running into one another again, they find themselves unable to deny the connection they still feel to one another. Can they put the past behind them though and give a future together another shot? 

I really loved these two. It was so clear to me how much these two really cared about one another and the fact that they had never stopped. But I loved seeing them fall for one another all over again. These two had both been through so much apart, and even though they still had a connection it was really about them getting to know one another again. These two both were partially to blame for their marriage falling apart the first time, so it was good to see them communicating better here and doing things differently. Reese and Trent had so much chemistry and you could see that the attraction between them was just as strong as it was when they had first met. But their connection just continued to strengthen here, and I really thought that they were even more perfect for one another after everything that had happened. 

Overall, this was a great contemporary romance and I am really loving this series. Bella Andre and Melissa Foster are great writers as individuals, but when you put them together it is something really special. I love that their collaborations are so seamless and flow so well. This series is one that I really love, and I think that so many people can relate to the stories and characters here. The one thing that I love the most about these books is that they have everything that I look for in a great romance. They are sweet and sexy, with enough emotion and depth to keep me invested from the first page to the last. I honestly cannot wait to read more from these two and I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

ARC Review: Cape Cod Kisses by Bella Andre & Melissa Foster

What do you get when you combine the amazing writing skills of both Bella Andre and Melissa Foster? A great new contemporary romance series! I cannot tell you how excited I was to see two of my favorite contemporary romance authors teaming up to write a brand new series! While I love each of these authors on their own, I loved them together as well! Cape Cod Kisses was a great story, and I am really looking forward to more from these two together as the Love on Rockwell Island Series continues! 

Shelley Walters isn't the type of girl to sit around and wait for the perfect life to fall in her lap. She decides to take a solo honeymoon, knowing that if she has to wait around for Mr. Right it might never happen. Upon arriving on Rockwell Island she meets Quinn Rockwell. Though at first he appears to be everything she should avoid, she quickly realizes that he is nothing like what she expected. These two are about as opposite as can be, but the more time they spend together the more they begin to feel. But what happens when their week together is over and it is time for Shelley and Quinn to leave the island behind and head back to the real world?

I loved these two together! I thought that they worked so perfectly because of their differences. Quinn was used to working very hard, he was dedicated and determined. He had built a shipping empire and focused on being a successful businessman. He loved his family and had loved growing up on the island, but he was clearly living a different life than the way he had grown up. But when he returns to the island and meets Shelley, he was able to let loose like he hadn't in a long time. I loved how playful and fun he could be with her, and she brought out a whole other side to him! Shelley was a free spirit, and I loved that she was able to just go after what she wanted. She had no problems taking a risk and working hard to make sure that it would pay off. She had no fear, and I thought that she was a ton of fun! These two might not have had much in common, but the sparks between them were instant! Their chemistry was so strong and I enjoyed seeing them explore it as they continued to get to know one another. 

Overall, this was such a sweet and fun read. It is the perfect book if you are wanting something fun and light without a ton of drama or angst. I loved that these two were sexy and hot together, but that they were also forming a strong connection and deep feelings. The fact that it was clear how close Quinn's family was just made it that much better! I loved getting to know a little about the Rockwells, and I can't wait for more! I love these big family stories where they are always in each other's business and can be a total pain, but yet the love they feel for one another is so strong that nothing can break the connection. This book was great and I am really looking forward to getting to know Trent better in the next book. If you are a fan of either of these authors or contemporary romance in general, this is one that you are not going to want to miss!

ARC Review: Kiss Me Like This by Bella Andre

I am a huge fan of Bella Andre's and I have loved her Sullivans series. So when I heard that she was writing a spin-off NA series, I couldn't wait to get my hands on the first book. Kiss Me Like This is the first book in her new Morrison's series, and I absolutely loved it! Bella Andre never disappoints, and this one was a fantastic start to her new series. If you are a fan of Bella Andre this one is definitely a must read!

Serena is a supermodel that has always done what her momager told her and expected of her. She decides that it is finally time to admit to her mother that she doesn't want to model or act anymore, but that she wants to attend college at Stanford. She is on academic probation until she proves herself and is determined to do the best she can. But she has to go out in disguise to hide who she is and try to have a normal college experience. She ends up going to a frat party and meets Stanford baseball star Sean Morrison.They immediately hit it off and are attracted to each other, but Serena isn't interested in dating him because she needs to focus on school. Sean is determined to show her that she can do both though, and he isn't willing to give up easily. But when the movie Serena was supposed to star in is suddenly ready to begin production, can their new relationship survive?

I really loved both Sean and Serena. They were so different, but yet they fit perfectly. They had come from completely different families, and while Sean came from a large family with many siblings, Serena only had her mother. Sean was still dealing with the pain of losing his mother and had given up photography after he lost her. It was great to see Serena help him move forward and rediscover his love for it. She helped him heal and he helped her be her true self and have fun for once. Serena was used to having a high profile life, but what made her likable and easy to relate to was that she just wanted to be normal and she loved books and reading. She was happy to just be around the library and going to school. She really came to life with Sean's help, and it was so fun to watch them go on their "normal" dates. I really thought that Sean and Serena were perfect together and had a lot of chemistry together. But they had a great connection and I loved how they both supported and encouraged each other.

Overall, this book was fantastic! I loved everything about it and this was every bit as great as I had been expecting! Bella Andre has such a great writing style, and she has this ability to just suck you right into the story and immerse you in her world. I was instantly invested in Sean and Serena's story, and I loved that they were unique and different characters that were easy to relate to. I fell in love with Sean and Serena, and I think that NA fans will feel exactly the same as I did. This is one of those books that just leaves you feeling happy and that stays with you. I highly recommend this one to contemporary fans as well as NA fans, and if you haven't read anything by Bella Andre you are seriously missing out!

Review: Shooting Stars by Bella Andre

I really wanted to like this story. In fact, I really enjoyed the beginning. The story just started off with a bang. I just have a problem with the second half, that is where the story became everything I dislike about short stories. I just don't understand how four different people all seem to fall in love within moments of meeting one another. It just wasn't believable. Maybe if this story was longer and we were given a chance to see the characters grow and get to know one another I would have believed it. This story just had so much potential to be excellent but it just fell flat for me. Though on the bright side, there were some pretty steamy sex scenes that were quite enjoyable and I really liked the beginning. So Shooting Stars wasn't a complete bust.

Review: Game For Love: Bad Boys of Football 3 by Bella Andre

It's been awhile since I've read a Bella Andre book, and after reading this I will definitely have to pick up the others that I've not read. This book was a pure delight and I just couldn't put it down. Cole and Anna were such great characters. I just loved watching them both fall in love.

Cole was very hot and slightly domineering at times. Don't get me wrong, I totally dug this. I love that his feelings for Anna were so intense that he went all Caveman on her a few times. I think this is what Anna needed to breakdown her walls.

When we first meet Anna she's so innocent and naive. When she meets Cole she is just trying to be anything but predictable and innocent. She has an immediate attraction to Cole, and that's not something she's felt before with others.

I really enjoyed watching these two break down their walls. Their HEA was very believable even though it happens quite sudden. I was rooting for these two as if they were my own friends. I hope the other books in this series are half as good as this was because I just could not put this one down.
