RFTC Hall Pass Event with Rebecca Zanetti

Rebecca Zanetti is the author of over twenty-five dark paranormals, romantic suspense, and contemporary romances, and her books have appeared multiple times on the New York Times, USA Today, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and iBooks bestseller lists.  She lives in the wilds of the Pacific Northwest with her own Alpha hero, two kids, a couple of dogs, a crazy cat…and a huge extended family.  She believes strongly in luck, karma, and working her butt off…and she thinks one of the best things about being an author, unlike the lawyer she used to be, is that she can let the crazy out.  Her current series are: The Dark Protectors, The Maverick Montana Cowboys, and the Sin Brothers series.  Upcoming series are: The Realm Enforcers and The Scorpius Syndrome.

Thank you for letting me play during the RFTC's 4th blog party celebration! We’re supposed to come up with 3-5 heroes we really like, so I came up with four heroes I love to read about, and one hero I like to write about. Here they are:

Roarke from J.D. Robb’s Death series. Yeah, you’re with me on this one. Roarke is about the coolest guy ever created, dangerous, sexy, and loyal. Pick any of the Death books, and Roarke is awesome in it.

He framed her face now, touched his lips to her brow. “You’re the beat of my heart, the breath in my body, the light in my soul.”

Tack from Kristen Ashley’s MOTORCYCLE MAN. Tack is a sweetheart but definitely a tough guy with his own rules, and he has a way of just getting to the point.

And into the darkness, to his sleeping woman, he whispered, “You don’t know this, baby, but some men have dream women too.”

Ian Taggart from Lexi Blake’s LOVE AND LET DIE. He’s the head of this black-ops organization, he’s normally cranky, and he’s totally sarcastic. But he’s also completely loyal to his friends and family, and he has a definite soft spot for anybody in trouble.

“I’ll fix this. I’ll save you. Choose me, Charlie. Choose us. Trust me. Give me the option of being your hero.”

Sloane Michaels from Jennifer Lyon’s (Jennifer Apodaca) PLUS ONE CHRONICLES. I just love him. Sloane is tough, kind, and wise…not to mention unbelievably sexy and downright dangerous.

“But trusting me to not hurt you? That’s brave. And that’s facing a deep terror you’ve had to live with for six years. You misplaced your trust before and you got hurt. This, baby, is all about what you want. I’m looking at what I want.

Kellach Dunne from WICKED RIDE. This is the first book in a Dark Protector spinoff, and it releases in June. I like Kellach so much because he’s a dangerous badass of a witch who rides a motorcycle and hunts down bad guys. He’s also ripped and speaks with an Irish brogue.

“I’m Kellach Dunne, of the Dublin Dunnes, and I intend to marry your sister as soon as she realizes I’m in it for the long haul, and I mean the very long haul.” He finished shaking hands and turned to start the engine.

Alexandra Monzelle is a hard-fighting, heat-packing Seattle vice cop, and she’s not much interested in being protected. Her short skirt and sex-kitten heels are tools to lure her suspects into talking about the deadly new drug hitting the streets. She can take care of herself and then some. Unfortunately, she can’t seem to get that through to Kellach Dunne.

Kellach is a fresh import from Dublin, and he’s landed at the heart of a vicious motorcycle club that deals in guns, narcotics, and mayhem. He’s all male, all rough power—and all interference in her damn investigation. Maybe he’s one of the good guys. Maybe not. Lex knows an affair with an immortal like him would risk everything. No matter how delicious he looks…

    1. The first few books are a little graphic with the heroine's difficult childhood, but the romance with the hero is so fun to watch. Roarke really is awesome. :)
